Lovely words, thanks. Would add that love has to be a doing, not a feeling. I was "been in love" with a woman but did not love her in deed, with the actions that real love is. "Being in love" can be(was for me !) just a selfish emotion that make the someone to be possessed and owned. I learned though, my motto since is "actions, not words" when it comes to love. Make sense ?
Yes, have felt that way. Have leared that moments of crisis are the best time to learn, times not to run. Had to face some truths about myself in relationships recently when a women I had been dating ended it - told me I was too selfish and self-centred for her. Was so tough to hear it (didt fit my self image). Fought it, fought with her (in writing) but deep down I knew what she was saying was true. These moments are the change moments in life - I feel "reborn" if that makes sense. Paid a very high price for not having faced my reality earlier but I'm glad (now) that I didnt run away. Will start dating again soon, but this time will not make the same mistake. Make sense ?
