Been thinking about this a while and its not actually that easy to say if your view is right or wrong.... I suppose it depends on the way you view it.
If you see great leadership does not coincide with great " cause" you are right.... but if your view is it does, your wrong.
In your last post, though I might understand where you're coming from and why I can't agree with empathy gets in the way... sometimes maybe, but not always .. but surely a great leader will know or should I say decided, when to and when not to.
Leaders must be able to comprehend, how else be able to make the right decision when faced with difficult ones... what I think is a challenge for one with empathy, is a cowards way out for the one with none.
Might I also add, it is not a bad thing to shelve people.. unless of course you do so on a sinking ship " now that would be wrong" now having said that ..someone could argue why its a good thing we should.
Think any leader you've ever heard of and tell me, if they were as empathetic as the common man then how could they do their job without emotional breakdowns?
In other words, even if forced, in order to decide the fates of others, you must lack in empathy. In order to make rational decisions, you must lack empathy. In order to inact justice, you must lack empathy. Empathy just gets in the way and will do nothing but complicate every decision to the point that either leadership will be lost because the leader appears weak or emotional instability via empathy will destroy the leader.
But just to say Irelands oldest woman died only a few weeks ago, aged 108, she was a Galway woman ... our now oldest woman is aged 105, I'd say she'll live many more years yet to come, she's got God on her side.... she's a nun.
Kind of agree Silvey But I do think lack of empathy makes more justice be served more so than make a great leader.
Now rethinking my own thought/sentence there, kind of makes you right which means I need to go away for awhile now and think about that one, because it can't be right that lack of empathy does result in great leadership.....
How do Rocks glad to see I'm not the only one causing that staff member to squash his poor little face up, you are too
But on a more serious note and speaking about pictures once we upload our photo it becomes their property, even when we delete a certain picture it still floats around here... for example, in the advertised blogs I sometimes see a blog of mine wearing a picture i no longer have in my photo gallery.. which only means, when we delete them they must keep them
Maybe it's not such a big deal, but no harm in being aware of it all the same..
Sorry to hear that Home" but sometimes shyness and nerves makes a person come across different to how they are (maybe he too was nervous) think might a second date/chance be worth it?
But wouldn't that be greedy sparks but nevertheless I'd rather the ability to see through men ... mind you, if I were to date a ghost I'd be sorted with that one
Depends how you see it Scotty, some see it as just another one .. but would they view it differently or take it less for granted if they knew it was to be their last..
