80% of what I wear says "medium" on the tag, and it usually translates to sizes 6-8 or 8-10. Yeah, yeah, manufacturers vary. Some think a 6 is a small or a 10 is a large, and some things look better looser or more snug... being basically an 8, I sometimes choose a large or a small.
I'm not some over-muscled supergirl "athlete," and I'm certainly not "skinny."
I get both, locals and people far, far away. I enjoy getting to know new people, so I'm OK with that. I did meet one guy from CS, and he's a great guy. But we didn't have that spark that I'd hoped for, so we continue to be friends.
There are 2 or 3 other men and 2 or 3 women from CS that I'd really like to meet live.... Americans, Canadians, an Australian, and one Italian-transplanted-to-Ireland- but-now-in-Canarias, Spain!
I am not an expert on Shakespeare... but I am a fan. I think this is essentially saying--- It is what it is; and it will be what it will be. He is expressing acceptance of destiny, that he will fall (die) when fate (providence) commands.
Poetry is good for me that way too... I can immerse myself in the images and the emotions and the urges. Trying to repress it only gives it more power, IMO. Letting it move THROUGH me frees me for a while. When I write or read my poetry, I get to really FEEL with intensity... which brings so much relief. People use religion/scripture in a similar way, I think.... also similar to meditation, of course.
I've been introspective lately... thinking too much.... but also finding that my emotions are right at the surface. That's a hard way to live. But it's a good time to write.
I was feeling soooo good this morning. I posted my own thread just to wish everyone a good morning because I just felt so happy and peaceful.... so full of clean energy!!
And now I feel so drained... and just down... you know, because my friend feels such disappointment. I even posted a rare depressing poem just now.
Then I promised myself to snap out of it upon falling asleep tonight.
RE: Excellent Poetry
I have posted one for OCTOBER. It's called "Purple Satin"
