I've been there -- and I had a terrible.. horrible tought times to get over it !!! He's Egyptian / American from LA but was working here at the US Base in Doha, Qatar. They are Orthodox and he's the only son. He need to follow what the parents tell him. He has to marry the same Egytian woman from their church... so for almost 2 years of being with him -- I had to let him go!
I knew from the beginning that I can't have him no matter how much he loves me. Now I could only say that , how I wish that I can have him for lfe but I know that deep inside of me he belongs to someone.
A matter of acceptance is the only way to move on ..
Hmmmm.. I would say be careful next time. To fall in love is a very great feeling but meet the person personally first and see how things goes. You shouldn't let wait for 2 years before deciding to see him. You could have meet him in the beginning of your relationship. That way no matter what happen it's not that hurting. True love will come your way -- let it go and start your New Year with a big big smile !!
It would be great to get married to someone you love and who loves you .. someone who adores you .. someone who will treat you really special ...hmmmmm
We have a small gathering in our Villa - I need to get my haircut after work and help the girls to cook in the afternoon. Maybe we can do that on the weekend. ..
