It depends on the type of guy you're looking for. After reading your profile, I'd say you want a creative, passionate type. You should look in book stores, poetry readings, or art festivals. Anywhere you can find artistic, creative, hopelessly romantic people. Just my opinion. Hope this helps.
I was hoping for more in person, real life approach advice. Like, where's acceptable/unacceptable for getting digits? I'm not into the bar scene. What about the gym? (I'd figure being all sweaty and such wouldn't condone a favorable first impression) Any ideas or advice?
I've been out of the dating scene for a long time. Now that I'm back in the singles market, I don't feel I know how to properly engage in asking out...ya know...gettin digits, where it's appropriate, and so on. What say you, ladies? I promise, I can be taught.
If you got involved with someone who dreams of becoming a rock star, actor, or other pipe dream, and things became financially stressful, would you admire them through thick and thin, or separate your relationship with them?
To the love that grows inside me, the love that knows no bounds. To her that is meant for me, the one that fate has found.
I wait for her to hold me, to take me in her arms. Give me of her pleasures, and bless me with her charms.
I’ll wait for her, my partner. The one who fills my dreams. Who takes away the shadows and guides me with her beam.
I can wait for you, my lover. I will hold my own last breath. With you I will discover that true love shall last through death.
Poem #2:
Love, a mortal institution filled with joy and persecution. Such rapture brought, such scandal made, within its world of delightful daze.
I search for her, my mortality. In her arms I'll breathe life in. Such a gift from one embrace for from that single moments pause my rush of life begins.
Where was once a shell, a mortals made. Where was once a dream, my love is found. Where once I feared my faith would fade it’s to her heart, forever bound.
Love, a mortal's institution for I stand a lifeless soul, an idle being ever searching for until love I'm not yet whole.
