Bod,they dont give those commendations away lightly,so you have my respect.
What you felt is normal,i understand. People like you who are willing to try and help in those situations are well respected by the emergency services.

The reservoir, suicides! Bod! The Goyt valley was a "favourite" spot for it as well. The coroner from Manchester,ended his life there.He was either from Manchester or Stockport,i cant remember. I have attended over 250 suicides,so i get muddled up!
I lived in Chapel-en-le-Frith,then Buxton,then down to Ashbourne to work in Derby.
