Wow! Your brain sure has a one track mind Lee!! Why would you even post a link to connect an hilarious holiday memory created by a little girl on her way to a family holiday with feminism?
In what way do you think that somebody who you describe as having a lack of depth in thinking or the inability to understand their own emotions or the emotions of other would be capable of realising something they are unaware of (as described by yourself) or lack the skills to understand?
How can anybody admit to something they aren't aware the existence of?
4 generations, 3 languages together in an ON LINE meeting room to celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday. All those not within driving distance connected online … from Denmark, Vietnam, England, Barcelona, Malaga Amazing!!! I raise my glass to technology as well as to my Mum and Dad married for 63 years
I notice that you appear to be one of the few men on CS who never ever write anything positive about women … I might be mistaken of course I might have missed that one post where you said how wonderful women are in general ...
You're right! All you men must unite as one and make sure you help provide for all the fatherless or fathers without jobs out there! So that women and children can continue to feel safe and women don't have to work 2 jobs!
The thread is about what happens to men who can't afford child support... I think he meant that the men could find any kind of jobs in order to afford their child support ... I think ....
Chispa is not really mine but she's been known to break into my basement to have her puppies and to come and squat at mine whenever her other human "takes to the road" … she's now been "sqatting at mine" a couple of years
I feel that whether I know the person or not "their reaction" has more to do with them than with me … and my reaction to their reaction informs me of how vulnerable I am in the area they might have "poked" … I find I couldn't care less unless they "poke" somewhere that feels a bit fragile and then that's about me not them …
Anyone remembers seeing a movie were the humans have a "time Watch" attached to their wrist that counts backwards and when time on the watch runs out they "die" … but you can "buy" time by doing certain things or on the black market and of course rich people have it easy and live in a sort of parallel world… but there are "time thieves" everywhere Can't remember the title of it
OMG!!! The shout "yee haaaaa"! ..... Always reminds me of when my 2 kids and me were going on holiday by train over to la Belle France to see some of "my lot" …
So we're at the station, peek hour for "office people" travelling to their "important jobs in London"... All in their most serious suits physically and metaphorically … not a smile in sight and there's us off on holiday with our suitcases and grins from ear to ear We had one of those hardshell suitcases with a strap for pulling at one end and my daughter about 8ish at the time was seating astride it when suddenly she grabbed the strap and started shouting "Yeee haaaa" like she was galloping on a horse!! in the middle of the station with the seriously straightjacketed suited people... nobody acknowledge our presence while we were laughing so much we could hardy stand and the more nobody batted an eyelid the more we laughed
Thanks for bringing back a seriously hilarious memory
Thanks for your beautiful words loaded with caring Ro. Looking forward to seeing the little Sked at play! He came into your life at the most perfect moment! I keep threatening my 2 mongrels with having them adopted But they know I don't mean a word of it and just laugh at me and carry on barking!!
I just had one of the best...
Thanks Gal
