I know a few fairly aggressive women, and at least one of them would be pissed off if someone tried to step in, regardless of whether it was a man or a woman. They're all quite capable of handling themselves in nearly any situation, so I let them.
I just let people fight their own battles, unless it gets physical. I've broken up a few bar fights in my time, but I stay out of other people's arguements, for the most part.
In this moodern age of independent women, I see no reason to defend a woman if she gets into it with someone else on her own accord, or a man either. If someone else was picking the fight, that would be a different matter.
Nah, I doubt you would offend any Canadians, we're a pretty tough bunch. considering that we have to deal with winter for 11 1/2 months of the year.
I think he did, but that's from my perspective, and for me, I've always enjoyed the time I've spent in the US. I've visited 30 states, and spent about a month in OK, and loved it. It was my adopted state, until I went to Hawaii.
I would suspect that he meant Canadians, seeing as he's from Canada. There are a lot of "snowbirds" heading south of the border to enjoy life during the winter, as there always have been.
If people would stop and think about the realitiy, and gravity of these situations, rather than pushing a political or religious idealogy when posting, it might be different.
That's exactly what the US supplied to Saddam, along with choppers to spray it, as "dual use" equipment and materials, which made it legal for them to sell.
Even though there were American officials that figured none of it was going to be used as pesticide or that the choppers were actually crop sprayers, they were told to sell them to Iraq anyway.
