Well, none of them were dates, just meeting as friends, but very enjoyable none the less. Two have actually stayed with me when visiting, one for 5 weeks, it's been great!
I know the too far away thing all to well, if some were closer, even I might have had a date by now.
I don't neccessarily agree with that, I think it would depend on whether you're a trusting person to begin with, more than anything.
I trust most people, unless they give me a reason not to, but not always in all matters or ways.
How do you know who it is you're talking to on the other end, whether they have a picture up or not?
I'll take the chance and trust that they are who they purport themselves to be. If they aren't, their the ones at fault for portraying themselves to be something they're not, not me for trusting that they are.
Life's easier if you're not looking for fault everywhere or suspicious of others. Sometimes you get pleasantly surprised by who you meet, even on here.
Sorry, I have no interest in saving the world, I have PLENTY on my plate as it is. I've made mention of the way people treat each other before, but it's rare that anyone listens.
Sometimes it's best to just steer clear, you you don't get splattered.
