I know at least one couple that met in a grocery store, they even got married...then divorced. Not a great story, but it does happen.

Ultimately no, it's not enough, I want more, dammit!

For the most part, I think people do get the desired message across, some better than others. Some have a talent in expressing themselves or describing feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Maybe some do say more on here than they would in person, but is that a bad thing?

I don't think, for most anyway, that it is, and for at least a few it's an outlet, seeing as they have nowhere else to share, vent, laugh, cry, or anything else with someone.
