It was a complete balls up by the officers concerned whatever the circumstances.There actions were unproffessional,and if she did have a bomb,they certainly didnt get a grip of the situation,they just escalated it,putting the child and members of the public in danger,with a chase situation,guns blazing,not knowing where the bullets would end up. When she was at the barriers,they could have ended it,but they failed to block her in,and then stood and watched her get her car out. I am sure there colleagues around the country are not impressed. Every excuse will be made for them,by the authorities,but i dont think there will be police officers who would want them as a partner.I know i certainly wouldnt.
