As a general thing,i would say we havnt got the right,but if it means protecting someone from some sort of harm,then, on occasions,it may be the right thing to do. The skill is in knowing the differance between interfering,and helping.
Its just what i expected.This isnt about the people of Syria,its about josling for position,gaining a foot hold,forcing ones ideals on a nation,all at the expense of innocent people.
One thing it is for sure,extremely bad manners and a total disregard for her partner. If i met someone for a date,and during that date,they behaved in that manner,it would be an insult to me.Fine,if she didnt like my company,finish the date early,and i would happily leave her to it.
