. Like everything,you need to find one who is going to deal with the matter properly,as in any proffession.
I wouldnt dream of making a will without using a lawyer.
That is my problem,assets in two differant countries.

I agree,and no matter how much i would want to be with someone,i would have to be very,very convinced that if they re-located to where i was,they would settle,and not feel isolated from there family.
I wouldnt want them to ruin there life by somewhere they didnt want to be.

Set up a competition,so after you have passed away,they have to compete for the various things

Seriously, i can see your problem,not to offend anyone who you care for.
If i knew i was going to pass away in 3 months,i would sell my vehicles ect,and give the money to those who deserve it.If i suddenly drop dead,then i dont want it going to waste,or the tax office!

Yes, i can only go by the experiences my Spanish friends have had,and try to learn from them!
I will ask at one of my banks,i think they do them,and they speak English,so that will help.Thankyou.

Well, i am not English actually, i am Scots.I dont have British friends,go to British bars,restaraunts,have British tv,read British news papers.Colonialist is not a touchy subject with me at all,assumption is.
All i know is many of my Spanish friends have had problems with Spanish lawyers who say they will do something,but dont.
Here in Spain,there is no "come back" on the lawyers. They are a law unto themselves.

I have a very old will that leaves it to my now ex wife,so i want to change it,and also find out if its best to do it through a Spanish lawyer or a British lawyer.

I shall have to check it out.I am British,living in Spain.Obviously if i die here in Spain, a British lawyer is hardly going to be interested,yet the Spanish lawyers are rubbish!
