I think we all deserve that from time to time, Arabella. I'm currently in my early forties...call it a mere mind-game, but I'm actually feeling more frisky than usual today...
Riya, this is kind of awkward...but are you aware that you have aluminum foil stuck to your head (in my case I'm always the last to know when something's stuck to my head or back...usually that's duct tape, but to each his or her own).
Seriously, am I the only one who finds it incredibly depressing that our choices are reduced to "Same Old, Same Old" McCain, and "Yet another Tool for the System" Obama??
At first I avoided this thread, Mindful, because I am somewhat math-phobic, but I'm glad I took a peek. Yes, I am, I'm sure, an honorary member at the very least, having singlehandedly killed more threads than I care to shake a snake at. (My specialty are threads like: "Say something nice about the person above you.")
What fun it would be to have him here!! Maybe for my next incarnation here I could use "Hobgoblin" as a handle...except I'm not so sure many ladies would find it appealing..
If we could go somewhere less odoriferous to cuddle, perhaps (I'm not so fond of the smell when there's "sow" all over the ground; we have a pig factory down the road, so I know what I'm talking about)
I was just thinking it would be nice to "hide" for awhile and still be able to participate on the forums, Uli. Doubtless contradictory, but you know what Emerson said about "hobgoblins" and "foolish consistency."
Well Ras,I really think we need to know,in a relationship once where the details were not revealed, didn't like that, though perhaps i should've known better because of her tendency to always speak in run-on sentences, thanks!
Northern CA and Oregon are both excellent suggestions, Dana - however, if housing prices are a consideration, that counts against those two states (at least the attractive areas in both states). Colorado has some relatively temperate areas - mild snow and temps in both summer and winter. My folks own a place in Broomfield, Co, and the temps were much milder there last winter than here (though they had considerably more snow).
One of my personal favorite states is Minnesota - love the lakes and rolling greenery/hills/forests - but again, there's the winter. Love Lake Tahoe...but winter again. I'm guessing the best values for the money lie in the midwest - that is, the best compromise of weather and property values...
RE: Dudes and Danes for OBAMA
Sheesh, Luscious, I'm glad my adoptive daughter isn't here today to see my like this...
