Are you happy? I should have responded to your Lucy in the Sky post in the other thread. Timothy Leary would have been proud of us...

False Savior

Just a little something about going out to the clubs, finding happiness in a wrong way, and one night stands......

Can you sense the charge in the air
City lights a buzz with zeal
My thoughts have no care
Crystal moonlight delights my feel

Just wanna become the fest tonight
Gonna cleanse what’s not right

Music awakens my senses
Ladies hint the desirable
Wanna tear down these fake fences
Gonna dance away all unbearable

The drinks create artificial laughter
Having a smoke with my savior
Unbroken completes the very after
Oh my such a sweet flavor

The morning seems to shatter
Was not promised a favor
My thoughts are back to the same old scatter
Vanished gone is my false savior

RE: life afer death

The Force is strong in you britainynicole, I am really impressed that you are outside the reality of the prescribed nonsense.
Is there any way you can be britainynicole 20 years later and come back and post in this forum in the now? I would love to see your expanded observations. Keep an open mind, decide for yourself, and keep studying Science/Cosmology and learn as many spiritualities/religions as you can. I'm not saying convert, but see what is out there for you to connect. I know it's cliche, but the truth is out there. If you ask, you will receive.

Take a look at Theosophy if you get a chance. You may or may not see a connection about energy, souls, and many different astral planes of existence. Just a thought so you get a good look about how our soul leaves our bodies during dreams and after death. Choice is yours...come as you are.

RE: life afer death

scold What I meant to imply is that if you allow something to irritate you in the sense that it builds up with your negative thoughts, and your imminent actions are meant to hurt somebody in a act of revenge so you feel better about yourself. It's like spreading a virus of negative and cruel actions. If you are at peace with yourself, then really nothing can bother you. You just understand the other person's internal garbage and ignore him or her instead of reacting with the same negative garbage that creates a bad vibration....bad negative thought that manifest a negative reality. Thoughts create and attract, good or bad.
So by taking things personal without a sense of reasoning or understanding, and returning the negative actions, creates a hell in your mind, his or her mind.
There is nothing to gain. It's okay to defend yourself and reason away by teaching or expressing in a peaceful manner so the other person can understand. If they can't, then I would just walk away and not worry about that person's half. I'm really only worried about my half. That is what I can control....and I want it in a good and happy vibe.

RE: would you funk on a first date?

Yes and No. Sweden is a huge one night stand culture. It depends on how much I knew the woman. If I felt comfortable about it, if she felt comfortable about it.
If it was with somebody that I maybe spoke to a couple times or simply just met, then no.

RE: life afer death

It is to master your thoughts by using many tools to manipulate your energy and create a karma that will speed up your vibration. The teachings preached in all the religions, psychologies(analytical) or self help-new age books are tools to help you understand yourself, others, the world so you can love yourself, others and find happiness. In essence, giving you the power to not take anything personal which would give you a very negative energy....and negative energy is what builds bad thoughts and actions.....bad karma.

The objective with Karma is to reach a level of vibration that would be far beyond the fifth dimension. To work out all karma that would need to be worked through. So when you get to that level of vibration there is no karma.

We don't die, just transit, and we may decide to come back into physical form because the earthly experience is very vibrant and unique. However, getting caught up in karma usually happens again, so therefore, one may be stuck in the painful cycle of trying to work out karma here in this vibrational plane.
The majority of people on Earth, when they die and leave the body, are working out problems in karma, so they have to keep going back and forth. There are exceptions....different entities containing different energies on a different vibrational level, yet they are still able to tune into our astral plane of existence.

In my studies of all the religions, cognitive psychology, philosophy, cosmology, and Astrology, I have found that one of one of the main functions of our soul is to accumulate information from all the lives we ever live. Our ultimate goal is to return to the source Nirvana/Heaven/our concept of God, the Creator. When we have completed all the journeys and adventures through all our many variety of lives we are supposed to return to the Source with our accumulation of knowledge. Knowledge and info seem to be the main purpose of the human species, and thus nothing can be right or wrong. It is only positive and negative we learn lessons from it and it enables us to work out any karma so we can complete our assignments and return to the source. In that respect in the final analysis all we have and are is the sum of our experiences and our knowledge.

RE: life afer death

I am not sold sweety...

Before I go on, let me just clarify that your Karma can be measured scientifically, just not yet. Quantum physics is still working on measuring our energy inside our bodies, and that energy is vibrating at a certain frequency. They are barely in the infancy stage. But they will soon find out how are energy transits to other existences dictated by a karmic energy. It's like a satellite, the satellite can only tune into the frequencies that it is programmed to according to what information it contains and what channels it can attract. So depending on your karma today and when you die, that Karma is attracted to similar vibrational frequencies. So what your energy and karma projects, simply attracts to your corresponding karmic vibrational frequencies.

Thoughts?

RE: life afer death

What if we are living in other universes simultaneously with this one?
What if we travel back and forth between other dimensions without our conscious knowledge?
What if we are only a splinter or fragment of a much larger soul?
What if parallel universes exist side-by-side with this one?
What if you are living all your past and future lives at the same time?

So many fascinating questions that keep me searching. Science and religion/spirituality can compliment each other to get closer to a deeper and higher understanding. I like your thoughts britainynicole.....these things are always to think about with an open mind.....

RE: life afer death

Fascinating....there is so much to learn on this subject. Great post gingerb....and I believe it this to be true. I am just wondering if she stuck around for a while to watch the procedure outside of her body and yet still present in the operating room and observing....or maybe something else that we cannot understand yet.

RE: life afer death

It's just theory...wink

RE: Fuel Prices

RE: life afer death

I still stand by my theory:
" mass–energy equivalence is the concept that any mass has an associated energy and vice versa. In special relativity this relationship is expressed using the mass–energy equivalence formula

E = mc^2 \,

where

* E = energy,
* m = mass,
* c = the speed of light in a vacuum (celeritas),
* and the superscript 2 indicates the squaring of c.

Two definitions of mass in special relativity may be validly used with this formula. If the mass in the formula is the rest mass, the energy in the formula is called the rest energy. If the mass is the relativistic mass, then the energy is the total energy."

This is better and explains my last post better. I had a paper in which I did in a Theology course here in Sweden, in which I used science to prove reincarnation.

I just went ahead and pulled this up from wiki cause my paper was done in Swedish, and it just took too much time to translate properly and coherently.

Mass–energy equivalence says that when a body has a mass, it has a certain energy, even when it isn't moving. In Newtonian mechanics, a massive body at rest has no kinetic energy, and it may or may not have other (relatively small) amounts of internal stored energy such as chemical energy or thermal energy, in addition to any potential energy it may have from its position in a field of force. In Newtonian mechanics, none of these energies contributes to the mass.

In relativity, all the energy which moves along with the body adds up to the rest energy of the body, which is proportional to the rest mass of the body. Even a single photon traveling in empty space has a relativistic mass, which is its energy divided by c2. If a box of mirrors contains light, the mass of the box is increased by the energy of the light, since the total energy of the box is its mass.

Although a photon is never "at rest", it still has a rest mass, which is zero. If an observer chases a photon faster and faster, the observed energy of the photon approaches zero as the observer approaches the speed of light. This is why photons are massless. They have zero rest mass even though they have varying amounts of energy and relativistic mass. But, systems of two or more photons moving in different directions (as for example from an electron–positron annihilation) may have zero momentum over all. Their energy E then adds up to an invariant mass m = E/c2, when they are considered as a system.

This formula also gives the amount of mass lost from a body when energy is removed. In a chemical or nuclear reaction, when heat and light are removed, the mass is decreased. So the E in the formula is the energy released or removed, corresponding to a mass m which is lost. In those cases, the energy released and removed is equal in quantity to the mass lost, times c2. Similarly, when energy of any kind is added to a resting body, the increase in the mass is equal to the energy added, divided by c2.

RE: life afer death

That's cool. Different views we have and I still love ya portia....I am not here to change you.lips

RE: life afer death

Einstein stated that if we observe a body which gives off a certain amount of energy (L) in the form of light it shows this formula that the luminous body's mass reduces with L/C2, in which C still is the speed of light. Einstein reasoned that a body's mass (M) and energy (E) corresponds to each other. Between those two there is could be a simple form of transformation, which has the value of C2.
Einstein used atom energy as an analogy as to how the energy in our bodies never dies. He simply stated that it was a matter of transformation of mass to energy.
E=mc2 shows that matter is just a form of energy and that energy cannot be destroyed, only transformed into another state. Our consciousness, which is energy, is indestructible. Everything has energy, and that energy never dies....just transforms. Take an ice cube out of the freezer, and that solid energy of matter transforms to water because of it's frequency.

RE: life afer death

Me too. Our bodies have energy, and energy never dies....just transfers to another vibration depending on our karmas.

RE: life afer death

What if heaven or hell is a state of mind in this world right now?

Plenty of scientific evidence. Quantum physics, the string theory, Einsteins e=mc2 theory.....have you investigated? If so, break it down...

RE: life afer death

Discuss further. That was a tease...

RE: Love

I concur...I experienced that. It's a long complicated story involving a girlfriend and an ex. No cheating was involved. Just some very powerful and frustrating emotions. Love is so weird.

RE: why are all the worlds religions so complicated ?

What facts do you want? Do you deny the wisdom of the Dalai Lama,Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed, Krishna, Pagan beliefs, indigenous/native spiritualism? They all have a divine message coming straight from the source....or God as many perceive it. You don't have to believe in them, but i would have a hard time reasoning that you would deny or understand the wisdom behind their messages and teaching.

The divine messages of wisdom and love brought to us by divine prophets or any spirituality were just that. Divine guidance to help us be happy, not give in to materialism and love ourselves and others unconditionally. It is the people who started a religion behind these divine messages. It is the people who have interpreted this wisdom for a certain cause in which manifested followers. And yes, many have isolated themselves or separated themselves from society. And yes the may have let their egos dictate that their truth is the only truth unfortunately.
It is the people who confuse divinity with their subjective reasoning. It is a certain group people who feel they behold the truth that disregard a spirituality with sound teachings of love, understanding, and wisdom. There are many different paths to the source or peak. No path is right or wrong, just as long as you are trying to get to the peak and closer to the source in a loving and unselfish way.

RE: Are Mangos sweeter then Girls??

Uhm......hmmm

no

RE: God exists???

That is a problem that I faced when I grew up, being judged by some Christians that I knew. I would often remind them that their religion and Jesus does not preach judging others. It is not their job. I think that some religious people actually do not understand deeply what it is their religion is trying to teach them. Then again, they are only human. It is more of a cultural thing at times when they try and force their religion on you. Too often, a religious person has never even looked at any other religions or spiritualities to gain a sense of understanding. They strongly believe that their religion is the only way to the peak because of the ego and sense of control. I think it's more of a maturity thing as well.
