A CS member this morning wrote in a post to me on one of the threads, asking me to say 'hi to riz' for her, and to thank him for blah comment on some thread. I thought, "Oh, no, not again"..


Several other people have thought the same, but they had mentioned it to me privately. I think this false assumption has arisen from dear Rizlared's post somewhere that he was in love with an Australian lady living in Italy. Well, I currently live in Australia, though I am an Italian also.

Now Rizlared seems to be the sweetest guy, but the assumption just aint true.LOL. I had already alerted dear Riz once before of this misconception, so I write this publicly in good humour, and mostly for the sake of his lady love, Australia1, who is sane enough to stay off the forums!

The other reason I started this thread is to pick up on the many times each of us makes assumptions, where we are so convinced, we would gamble our homes or mothers or our children, we were so convinced we had it right. BUT, we end up being so WRONG.

But what ARE some of the assumptions you have made, that turned out to be, let's just say, way off the mark?

The issue related to a portion of an email written and sent yesterday to a GF, became embedded in a brand new email I wrote and sent a short while ago to another GF, much to the astonishment of the person who received the email, may I add. Thank goodness it was nothing confidential, as that would have been disastrous. The cause of this is as yet unknown, but it is not due to anything I have done, as it was straight writing of an email.

I would take the 'condition' as a joke, and proceed to ask what taste in food they had and jointly decide on a really nice restaurant where we would most probably meet. I rarely have a man pick me up at home for a first date. I am a very private person. But then again, if he were the man of my dreams....

Thanks. I really do wish the thread hadn't been deleted in such haste, as the issue is genuinely in the members' interests, and should NOT have been dismissed.

Hi all,

I just heard from the Mods, and it seems they have misinterpreted my feedback to them. They seem to think it was I that must have done something wrong to cause it!!! I just wrote back to them asking them to take me seriously, that I used no cut and paste on that email. It was a straight email, and the other email, from which the 'embedded' info came, was written yesterday. I don't blame them from thinking it was something I did, because it is too weird to contemplate, and might cause unnecessary panic. BUT I would not be posting this otherwise.

If you see me banned, you will all know why.

So dear Mods, I am not deliberately stirring up trouble, OK? Thank you!

Yes, I know. I turned it off ages ago. You will still get notification of who has tried to IM you, but at least they won't get through. I have added on my profile, that my IM is turned off, so I shall see who actually reads my profile, and it's very short so not much to plough through.

No croissants for me thanks! I have had too much panettone, ravioli, Italian bread, chocolate. You have no idea the sweat I am building up exercising to Suzi Q! Then will go for a hike, it's hot, but blow it. It's gotta be done, and I enjoy it.

So, it's peppermint tea for me, no cappuccino either.

No problem with neigbours, unless the guy next door has his blind down, that means he is sleeping. He works shifts, so am mindful only of that. Other times, we can do what we like, as lots of distance between us.

I am going to try and get tickets for a 'Simply Red' concert set in one of the Barossa Valley wineries on eve of Feb 7th. Can't wait, so hope I can get the tickets.

Hey phoenix. I can do that now. It was very late last night and had to finally go to bed. My son gave me a Suzi Quattro CD. That will get me going this lovely Saturday morning, being close to midnight your way. I wasn't a huge fan, like her music, but nice of my son to think of giving me music in any form.

Please feel free to start a new thread, and I will make sure to look out for you. I know what you mean, some people do stick their own 'groups', a shame but a reality. A few threads lately that are getting an horrendous amount of attention, and no idea the attractiion, but there you go. We do not all ahve the same tastes in topics.
