Well.. if thats your take on it Gilly.. thats all i would have to say.

I have replied to your threads, you found my smiley annoying , i explained and apologized to you. Then there was an offensive Indian thread. Even after that I have participated whenever i felt i could regardless of everything else.

Uhh.. one thing i must say.. i reply to most threads regardless of who is posting it depending on the topic. Also, i hope you have realised i talk to most people not just people i like. The ones i am comfortable with i can mail them anyways.

Gilly, it is NOT meant to be negative towards you. You can post what u like just like everyone else .. but this is just a good morning .. she is not saying it to all countries ( almost ) and not so many threads in a row. More so she even likes the information..amd has a conversation going... it doesnt become Q and A.

We r not here to upset or dislike anyone .. all of us are here to have a goodtime .... u can join the fun too.. u are more than welcome.

I hope i am not misunderstood. Anyways this is a personal opinion.

Absolutely !!!! i agree to what you guys are genuinely so worried about But apparently it doesnt change anything .. it just doesnt .
You see aliens still wake up the next morning , all countries stay on the globe, i am still hoping you dont steal my man, i dont get thinner, III world countries esp. India stays pretty cheap , the globe stays warm , we dont have dates , , people go mudslinging, we enjoy the fight from the outskirts , people continue to have deliberately camouflaged offensive handles ... the sun sets, the moon rises and we get abducted !!!!

And Robbie... u still stay in London very strategically located ...

Aanyways, am from Bangalore in India . It's an IT hub and once upon a time the greenest city in India. Its a peaceful place with lot of cultural diversity. Oh yes, weather is pleasant but in the recent years we rseeing extremes.

Afghanistan needs religious tolerance , awareness and political stability
LAPTOP is not their 100th requirement even. There still exists slaughter in the name of pride , religion and rules.

Cambodia , Rwanda , Haiti good lord !! PC wont solve their problems.
Civil war or political unrest needs a stability on the governance front then comes everything else. .. food , medicines ...everything !!

There is no III world as such ... its an economic divide which has a totally changed basis now.

Most of the countries have internal issues due to which their growth is suffering and are under huge debt or mercy of the UN or World Bank.
So helping this way is no good. The root cause needs to be challenged.

The actual issue is the Advertsement and the publicity. Think for a minute the fastest growing economies in the world are III world countries. If they were in such dire states it wouldnt be possible. Accepted that electricity and basic amentites is an issue but not as it gets portrayed .. thats too exaggerated !!!

Onthe other hand, III world countries torn by famine , war , cyclone like in Indonesia right now, civil war are the ones who r in dire economic states and have no basic funds or facilities.

III world countries is a very broad generalisation and it includes a lot of countries which are doing quite good.

So the adv. is misguiding and quite depressing in fact to show something so terrible. You know to show children in such a state of poverty and malnutrition speaks volumes about the economic crunch the country must be in. Needless to say political turmoil, civil war, diseases and natural calamities.. something must be a part of the parcel.

its quite depressing to see advertisements misguide this way !!!
