We haven't had WW for a long time. Peace negotiations by world leaders, could be stretched, without a 3rd. WW. I'm hoping this is what is going to happen.

You gave singing a good shot Wash.... I think we need male voices in choirs ....to give it depth and volume-- ( mine own opinion).The choir I've joined is secular and I am glad we are allowed to have the words in front of us...it would be too challenging otherwise.

Obstinance,why do you want the world destroyed. There will be fallout for decades and centuries....nothing can be grown, no animals ...no feed or drink for anybody that survives. It may be centuries before life can return.

Without some kind of support we lag miles behind. I am sure that we can tap into some kind of creativity when there is time----retirement. Lots of time to explore our capabilities. Even if don't become famous, we can still create.(some paintings land in the op shop). I have bought some paintings for a $1.00 or $2.00.from the op shops, and hung them on the walls. When people visit me they think I have painted them.

Serene, I think everybody is creative.It exists in almost everything we do and all fields of work. We probably do it everyday without thinking about it. However some are gifted/talented/prodigy in some fields and work so hard and make a name for themselves.This is my own opinion.

Curly, I'm sure you will have time to do your paintings when you are fully retired---there will be so much time. Your creative ability went towards your landscape gardening---a great success.

My favourite temperatures are around Autumn and Spring. The leaves are just starting to turn reddish/ brownish and dropping---so colourful at this time of year. I've started to wear my jumpers and put doonas on my bed.

When ever I go to my Chinese friends and Iranian friends and houses, we are all expected to take shoes off and wear slippers provided/bring your own or walk bare footed, even on polished floor boards or tiled floors. Definitely not asking to much---expected courtesy.

I wonder why our scientists are always under the "magnifying glass"--- pressure to get their theories right. Often they reconsider and come up with other theories. While many religions are all based on "faith journeys". Religions are not expected to prove anything written in their scriptures.
