I agree with you mickyj63 about the cults. I have no time for them either. About Russia, I was writing about the Orthodox Christian church and also the Polish Catholic church. I sometimes turn on the ABC, TV and see lots of American crowds of ordinary couples,singles,families attending many christian churches including the born again Christians.The churches are jam packed. Very different to here in Australia. I agree with you there are many, many Muslims. Anyway this is only my own belief.
Who knows all could be possible!!! Many paintings are far from accurate. Artists tend to include character,personality, atmosphere,emotions of subjects that they are painting and also include their own personal emotions. The Last Supper is most likely an artist impression, painted centuries later.It is most likely not accurate.This is my own belief.
I agree with you 54xmax,love at first sight is only in books,movies and people's imagination.Searching for real love and happiness takes longer, but more enduring.

It was a wet ghastly day and I just got my new glasses. I accidentally dropped and ran my car over the glasses. To my surprise the glasses did not break only the frame bent. I quickly went back to the optomerist and he gently straightened them. I still wear them now. I am relieved that glasses are made from flexible material.
We all are born with a good and bad side of us. It all depends which side your are going to develop. Hopefully it is the good side of us. Crims and pervs etc. develop their bad side. I hope to God that this is only a small percentage of the population and a majority for the good side.
I prefer to keep an open mind. It takes a long time to know a person. You could live with a person for 32 years and not know him. So how can one be judgemental?
Nature123, some women are spiritualists and they can tell your life pretty accurate. I was amazed at how they can communicate with people who have died---ancestors. Most of their stories were pretty accurate, because people were doing what these spiritualists said. They also have seances---but I didn't attend. If you are interested in following up attend a spiritualist meeting---some are free especially on a sunday. Find one near your home. A great eye opener.Even their free healing is extremely beneficial. You will feel the difference in yourself within the week. It worked for me.

It depends what kind of love you are looking for. Is it basic instinct. Or are you search deep down in your soul. Love can be on a higher level. Where people care for each other. It is above basic instincts.
Mickyj63, it is not important about dates. I suppose the dates were changed to fit in with the calendars. One should look at the bigger picture-----Jesus was a great leader and started a new religion, which his followers spread throughout the world. The religion is Christianity Jesus set an example for us--how to behave towards each other. Prior to that it was the Jewish religion or the Hebrew Faith. Christianity still exists now---that is a very long time for a religion to exist and to continue for some time into the future.
I do not agree with you Papermate. Good relationships should foster care,co-operation,love,trust,and being real friends etc. When these virtues breakdown couples should separate and divorce.Once couples hit each other the trust is gone for good it will not come back again. If people think that they still live with each other-- they are kidding themselves. It will only lead to future domestic violence. It is for for couples to spend more time finding another partner more suited to their personality.
Mickyj 63,have you ever had a traumatic experiences or extreme bad news in your life? If you did or even had several, one on top of the other or throughout your life. You would know what I was talking about. If you haven't then you would have no flipping idea( as you have stated). Some of us have gone through traumatic experiences or extreme sadness.We view life differently with rosy blinkers like when you are young. With me I would like to achieve something before I die.There is an inner urge to achieve this.
Yes I believe so.For example there are many breast cancer survivors who have set up, BreaCan, which is in the city. Those people are all volunteer supporters for women with any kind of cancer.Phone call etc are all very helpful when one is so depressed. They also run information of what is happening now in medicine to combat cancer. Another program is the "Feel good" where women put make-up,scarves, wigs etc. to make them feel better, while they go or have gone through chemo-therapy,and other therapies. Another one is run in hospitals eg Peter Mac where all patients males & females have drinks, food while they are having their chemo-therapy---all run by volunteers. There is also a guy(do not know his name) that started soup making for all people who are homeless. This place is somewhere in the city. There are many more.
I believe all prophets are "sons of God". God usually sends one approx every 500-1000 years. Hence why we have so many religions. This includes Buddism, Hinduism etc etc. The most recent is the prophet Baha'u'llah, born 200years ago. A Persian----not Muslim. The new religion or Faith is called Baha'i. Very peaceful people and they do not believe in killing people. Also another one is spiritualism, these people actually get in touch with some spirits from our dead ancestors.I am not sure how they do this. They are also helpful people. They also believe in God. Most of prophets or Sons of God, have become great leaders and many have written many scriptures. I feel we need to unveil our blinkers and do more readings to understand the bigger picture. We need to embrace all religions.All scriptures are there to lead us back to becoming better people.
