The reports say,that about 1200 evacuees, mainly Asians,arrived at the port of Souda in the island of Crete and just as the Ionian King entering the harbour 46 people jumped overboard,aiming to be on EU soil,so to avoid repatriation.The Greek cost guard,found 3 drown, they saved 23 and 20 missing so far,presumably managed to reach land.

Greek news say 500 Americans in SOUDA base waiting to go in to action,and about 6000 mainly Chinise evacuated from Libya.Am sure you want me, to be accurate to the last nationality.-Yes including 2 Swiss, 1 from S.Pole, 2 Inuits,and 1 from Lichtenstein.
One more thing, IMO i did not insult nobody,i just proposed International forces go in,and liberate the Libyans by getting rid off Qaddafi and stopping the Libyans people slaughter.
We are doing more than what you think,how do you think 6000 chinise apart your own breathen and other nationalities arrived in Crete island???? Our vessels are IN and OUT of Libya evacuating foreign nationals,including 3 C-130 transport planes,plus 500 American special commandos,awaiting in Crete (Souda base)ready to be transported in to action.
You are speculating.NOBODY is going to blame International Arm Forces restoring peace in Libya,if is solely for humanitarian reasons,unless there is alterior motive behind it,like Saddam's WMD.-
In other words you are saying, in the past our internventions,was to secure our needs for oil,now don't have this need,so to hell with the Libyans .- Where is your Human Rights records, your country advice, other countries to observe???. A good reason international arm forces,they have to go in,and get rid off Qaddafi,is that he has broken each and every Human Rights code and rule.-
Let the EU,NATO, Arab leaque,Russian, Chinise and any country's arm forces, wanted to partisipate,go in and get rid off Qaddafi,and leave straight after,allowing the Libyans to decide,whom and what type of government they want.- This way nobody will point a finger in the liberating foreigner forces.-
I suggested all along when the Libyan crisis started,that Western and American forces go there,get rid off Qaddafi and his clan,give power to the people to have a say how and whom they want to governed them,and leave.-So the Western powers they will hailed and applauded as liberators,not as conquers.Now, days of bloodshed,they think about it.
If your post was for me(and not for Steve)yes i have,but i live in a small island,and i don't wish to relocate,moving from paradise back to the jungle of a city,and i think will be hard for a lady to adapt living in an island all year around,although we have a lot of mixed marriages,especially English speaking.
Am not ""planning"" anything "" in the near future"" as am retired, but am very active all around,concerning the local community in the island i live in.-
