I work with and have other friends who have tried Champix, hypnotherapy, cold turkey etc, etc, and have succeeded for months, sometimes even years, then taken up smoking again when stress finally takes over. Bit sad for me. Did you see the latest reason for obesity? It appears that since so many people have quit smoking, obesity has been on the rise, very interesting statistics. So you can take away one health problem, to only gain another
Yes, as I said I did like some of their songs, but I prefer bands who don't rely on a "gimmick" to get their music across, I just like bands who can play and write their own music, with grunt
yes ROCK music, have you ever seen them live, they are brilliant and play for 3 hours!! Dave Grohl was in Nirvana, in case you don't know that. KISS relied more on their makeup that in actual music, even though I did like some of their songs.
a lot of young people these days aspire to The Doors, my daughters boyfriend is in a band, and he loves them. Their music is timeless....... I myself got into them when I was around 20, and have loved them totally ever since.
I am 52, and still really into music, Rock........... I cannot find anyone my age who wants to attend concerts, or who can have a decent convo about good rock music. I am not really into "pop" as such, but do keep up with recent music, hate rap or techno though. I am trying to get someone to go Foo Fighters concert in Perth in November, but most of my friends, some of whom are only 40, can barely say they know the band. I love my music and it is so frustrating that I can find no-one who share my love. The Doors are my favourite band of all time, but most of my female friends just like the usual crapola they play on the radio, like Pink etc
well, we westernized women are still required to wear bras, and shave our legs, underarms and nether regions due to "social" requirements, what's the diff?
it was actually called "Not Without My Daughter", a film was also made starring Sally Field. but that was quite a few years ago, maybe things have changed since then.
