RE: What you miss now you are single?

hahaha, sure thing Minxy........ watch out Perth men!!!!

RE: What you miss now you are single?

RE: What you miss now you are single?

Very true Wysterious, hence I haven't been asked out on a date for a long time.................

RE: DONT YOU HATE IT WHEN.......

I have all of those serene, except a warm body, it's bloody freezing here in Perth, I so hate winter!

RE: DONT YOU HATE IT WHEN.......

RE: would you get or have you got a tatoo

I got one on my 38th birthday, to celebrate my divorce. It is a symbol of my guardian angel "Michael", it's on my back, left shoulder. I rather enjoyed having it done too, nice tinglelaugh Would get another one if I could afford it, would have my children's names enveloped in a nice design.

Hodgkins lymphoma

Dryad, but telling me I will finally meet my soul mate, surely does not relieve this news about my son does it?

Hodgkins lymphoma

there is apparently a 80 - 95% success rate, especially with my son's age group, lot of celebrities have had it, including Delta Goodrum, the guy from Dexter etc etc, was hoping someone on here could give personal experience with chemo treatment etc.

Hodgkins lymphoma

which other post Dryad? Is this related to me or my son?

RE: Sad some people have never experienced marriage

yes, must agree, it gives you a chance to vent, or ask advice and good friends can be made online. I have received so much help from online friends, just a shame that we "need" to go this route, where once friends and family interacted "in person".

Hodgkins lymphoma

anyone had personal experience, or know someone who has it? Just found out today, after months of waiting, waiting, waiting, that my 26y.o. son has it. I have done research of course, just wanting to hear from someone who has personal experience.

RE: Sad some people have never experienced marriage

have to agree with you re internet normal

RE: Sad some people have never experienced marriage

teddybear

RE: cooking shows

touche RALF

RE: cooking shows

I am a decent cook, I think............ and those cooking shows bore me to tears, I hate any type of reality show, they are all so "false" hehe

RE: Sad some people have never experienced marriage

yep, it was normal....... and thanks to you and ralf for listening.

RE: Sad some people have never experienced marriage

I tried to leave quite a few times, but the police back then, weren't that supportive! Then the times when I actually got away, he would hunt me down, and give the usual promises of: I am so sorry, I will never do it again, etc etc, all said with tears in his eyes...... then would come the brainwashing: no-one else will ever have you etc etc, blah blah

RE: Sad some people have never experienced marriage

Well, I experienced marriage for 13 years...... it was fine (sort of) until our first child was born and husband resented first born because he was a boy (ex husband had 5 brothers so wanted a daughter), he also didn't like the attention being taken away from him, and given to new son. Ex husband became abusive, both emotionally and physically, then we had another child 4 years later, a daughter for husband, he doted on her and rejected son even more. He became so abusive towards me and son, that I had no choice but to leave permanently. Son is now 26y.o. and suffers severe depression stemming from total rejection from his father. Father ended up with a severe drug problem, joined the Bandidos bikie gang, then prison for 8 years for attempted murder, children haven't seen him since they were 8 and 4 respectively, we all lived in hiding for many years after my divorce. My children want nothing to do with him, even though he has tried to make contact since out of prison. He blames me to this day. I chose to raise my children without the revolving door of "men friends", so I have had no relationships since the divorce.

HENCE, I have NOT had a good experience of marriage, and have no wish to "try again".

anyone on here a medium or psychic?

Thank you Dryad teddybear

anyone on here a medium or psychic?

thanks for your reply Dryads Curse, they both said they could see I was a bit stressed out and unhappy with my life, work is ongoing stress for me (I work in Child Protection) and I haven't had a relationship for years and years because of my abusive ex, obviously they could "feel" that I was unhappy, and wanted me to know that there was something for me to look forward to. I certainly don't know this man they are referring to, and you have confirmed that. What did you mean by check out last names?
They both said this relationship would start before Spring, and they I would not usually be my wary self, and that I would run full tilt into this relationship.

RE: Diffrant names in other staes.

and in W.A. we say Derby, not Darby as they do over east.

RE: I can't believe it

I have two children, daughter 21 and son, who turned 26 this year! I still only feel 26 myself, though obviously when I get out of bed in the morning, what the mirror tells me and what I think are two different thingsblues

RE: Healthy Food

the sweet potato chips are yummy......... just don't cook them too long, they burn quickly.

RE: Healthy Food

in W.A. we have "Fit Chips" in our Shopping Centres in Perth, "air" cooked to be healthier.............. trouble is they taste like crap, not much point in having chips at all if they don't taste like real chips!

RE: What aftershave ,cologne ,perfume do you prefer to wear

hahahaha, yeah and Avril Lavigne had a perfume out at one stage too, shame they are actually nice perfumes, but using their perfumes is just not appropriate for anyone over 30, unless you can admit you actually like these girls musicrolling on the floor laughing

RE: What aftershave ,cologne ,perfume do you prefer to wear

tis ok RALF, I had a sample of Paris Hilton perfume once, and yes, it was divine....... just the embarrassment of telling anyone who asked, that stopped me from buying itwink

RE: What aftershave ,cologne ,perfume do you prefer to wear

I don't really know them by name (male aftershave), just know that if I like em, I really like emblushing

RE: What aftershave ,cologne ,perfume do you prefer to wear

I love anything from Escada, everyone comments on the different scents, they love it......... also some of Calvin Klein.
