I bought a cheap phone from crazy johns .have the odd issue but when I tossed the vodaphone sim and used the crazy johns one no worries .
even bought a blue tooth device for the old pc and take fish pictures with it when I'm out having a flick.

My Catholic Irish ancestors who were given a lovely holiday cruise in chains to NSW .And not allowed to practice Catholicism or speak Irish (here I go defending a religion I don't practice any-more ).Either in 1800 or just after. And this same ancestor he had to wait for the church to be legal under English law !!! Mind you he married a woman 16 yrs his junior not sure how old either were That may have been criminal under our laws now

Or my Cronish miner ancestors who came here to SA then moved to Mines in NSW.When the copper ran out around moonta.But then how cornish were they my mothers mother told me her Dad was greek .And he changed his name or Anglicised his surname to fit in .Greek guy at work told me no Greek man would do that !!! So is that a crime

Or my Mothers Fathers People .I thought they were cornish as well .But seems my mother and her siblings were not Methodists like my grandmother.When I was 10 I overheard a conversation and I asked what they were talking about .I was politely told it was a christain sect like the lutheran church .Which they belonged to until just before ww2 and they all became methodists .

My dads mum no idea except she was catholic either irsh or scottish of origins . All I know that the nuns used to scare the bejesus out of me when they came out her front door .

There was that rumour that there is some indigenous blood in there somewhere .No idea if its true I do have olive skin more so than my kids !! And my EX had a french/belguim surname and they weren't catholic(well here reall grandfather was) !!!

Yes I understand that there are people living in Australia from Europe.Who moved to this country what 50 or so yrs ago.and yes they can not speak or read English .Yet they still passed driving tests and can use a voting form .
But in the most part they abide by the laws of this nation .

Firstly I intended what I said for those not born in Australia !!
The yanks did in the 1920's and 30's .

I have no problems with people from other lands living in Australia.But surely you follow the country you live in laws!!
Otherwise why do non muslim women cover their heads when they travel through Saudi Arabia.Because they are doing the right thing !!
Surely people who live here can live under Australian rules or law as its the right thing to do!!

My thoughts here and not intended to be racial .
I only wish Australia had the same laws in cases like this as they do in the us (someone will correct me if I'm wrong)
They have a law if you commit a serious crime you are deported back to the country of your birth.The best examples would be pre WW2 where gangsters of Italian( mainly Sicilians) origins were sent back !!
Perfect solution to some of the vicious crimes being committed in Australia today.
Not just what's written above.

As I said not intended to be racial shouldn't matter who or what you are . If you are that bad send them back to wherever they come from Europe, Africa, Asia where-ever !!!

I used to think karaoke would be fun .But my ex started to run karaoke shows(2 a week or was it more). Found out how boring they were to just sit and watch for hours and hours.

Plus seeing I couldnt hold a tune for the life of me .Was probably a good thing .
