whether i was a believer or not- there was a time when i was not many of you might be shocked at my former life however i find it annoying that people will only believe there is a god isf he fixes everything otherwise hes a jerk or he doesnt exist.

and as far as people calling and asking as to my whereabouts i find my response to peoples behavior can often be wrong- a misunderstanding my own discomfort and so i misunderstand sometimes. when people call me they are concerned cuz they are my friends and thats our time to meet and i didnt show wouldnt you call a friend in such a situation?
ill get calls today but it makes me feel wanted and welcome and supported as im sick as a dog and i already know who im gonna ask to do a grocery run for me-

i may share that i am a believer and that i attend church but what i speak to more is the bigotry -any bigotry as its never productive coming from anywhere
yes we should consider purchases but i would venture a guess that people give less thot to spending for those cigs or shoes than they do in 'giving' to any charity because service is the last place people, in general, want to give their money-its a challenge-its a step of faith. its sharing. and whether or not anyone else thinks so a church member does consider that a donation.
is alcohol bad because there are alcoholics? i wish i could come up with another analogy but i cant at the moment im coughing my fool head off
my point is that to say alcohol is bad is silly just as to say church is silly
i have met people in and out of church that i liked, didnt like, thot were jerks, and found to be distasteful in their choices.

and as far as the state of the nation-ive posted on that travesty many a time just cuz its crumbling doesnt mean oh well its over and i can still lament it and hope and do my part my garden is full of weeds-how bout yours? any humility in there at all?

and millions of people tithe or donate to all sorts of things and millions of relief is spent in places that need it ive been some of those places and put my hand and money to the need thru a church who is anyone to judge what anyone does with their money
some people dont think twice on spending 50 bucks at a sports bar or 100 on shoes or a carton of cigs-or a special breed dog and thats no ones business but if people choose to donate its wrong and under suspicion?
if a group is agreed to gather-there will be overhead the few should not outweigh the many, as far as bad behavior goes. thats plain bigotry-which is never a forward moving state.
greenpeace accepts money, has offices, spends money on what they have agreed to attempt to accomplish. so does the united way and many many other charities/service organizations
so what? why is it anyones business organized religion is a mess because there are people there thats a big challenge-one it takes determination and maturity to overcome thats been the case for me but i do feel fulfilled serving and i am making progress toleratig 'christians' but i am making progress becoming a bit less arrogant-and i am truly happier when w/ a group than not.

it shouldnt even matter to anyone else. isnt that what america was built on? coming together for common good, regardless and w/ no attention focused on 'religious differences'

god isnt an interceder god isnt to blame for stuff a good parent doesnt do those things as it stunts maturity.
the relating to god as that type of being is juvenile. a good parent allows choice, falling and learning its not the parents fault everytime someone ends up in prison
having someone to blame is convenient but eventually one must pull themselves up by the bootsraps and take some responsibility
