aquila_jTopeka, Kansas USA2 Threads 15 Postsok so ive tried this place and mailed people and never get anything back.I dont know maybe I am just ugly or something.I know that I do not write much about myself and things but that is because I want someone to get to know me.I have not got one piece of mail so I guess that is never going to happen.I am sorry for the whining or whatever you want to call it.I just wish that I did not feel this way.But it is no different then my life.That is why I work almost all the time.Thanks.

Keep your chin up, Sweety! It happened for this Kansan (I met the lady of my dreams here on CS a little over a year ago!) so it can happen to you, too!
And you're still young and pretty, with a lot of life and tons of dreams ahead of you - Heck, it took me almost 46 years to find the love of my life!
And this much I know: Sometimes it really does happen and a simple little thing like responding to a thread about James Taylor can be the catalyst. But you have to be patient; Nothing good ever came from rushing things (Except maybe making it to the bathroom in time!) and I'm living proof that good things do indeed come to those who wait...

All I can say is stay with the forums...
I got plenty of attention from lots of guys when I first joined CS a month ago.
I'm 42. They were mostly in their 20s or 60s and were offering me their mobile phone numbers....for a good time call......
Pretty discouraging/down right depressing stuff......
The forums are a much nicer situation, where you can get to know people in a more natural??human??? (cyber actually ) way......

Lots of people have already given you sound advice and the advice about posting in the forums is really good. Since you started CS on 17 Dec 07 you have only posted twice. (This one and an introductory thread) I'm sure there are lots of folks out here who would like to get to know who you are and what you like, dislike, etc... And I think the best way to do that is by seeing you comment on the threads.
Of course I am too much of an old geezer to your eyes but I looked at your profile and you seem to have a lot to offer. Enjoy the threads, joke, laugh, fuss, show us who you really are and people will take notice.
