What are you afraid of?

Did that loads of times too. Ouch

What are you afraid of?

Me, I am terrified of them strimmers.

I hate the bloody things. I end up with small cuts on my legs and have been hit on the face when it hits a small stone.
One of these days I am going to lose an eye from the damm thing. I dread taking it out and using it, gives me nightmares but the garden does not look finished unless I use it.

RE: Brian Cowen

Isn't it just typical.
The people who are paid huge salaries to run this country, the bankers and the developers are the ones responsible for this mess and we are turning on each other. we the ants are not to blame, the power holders are. It is their job to make sure that this never happened and their job to fix it.
I dont think they really realise the misery that this is causing. People losing their jobs and worse still their homes. I wonder will I be bailed out if I lose my job. Will anyone rescue me and pay my mortgage, I don't think so.

And as for giving the C.W.O. "a little something for himself"confused dunno
I think he could lose his job for accepting a little something.

Male or Female

Have a great weekend hun.wave

Are we celebrating any birthdays in town over the weekendbeer

Male or Female

A Spanish Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike
English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.

'House' for instance, is feminine: 'la casa.'
'Pencil,' however, is masculine: 'el lapiz.'
A student asked, 'What gender is 'computer'?'
Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether computer' should be a masculine or a feminine noun. Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.
The men's group decided that 'computer' should definitely be of the
feminine gender ('la computadora'), because:

1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;

2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is
incomprehensible to everyone else;

3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for
possible later retrieval; and

4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending
half your money on accessories for it.

(THIS GETS BETTER!)

The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be
Masculine ('el computador'), because:

1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;

2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;

3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time
they ARE the problem; and

4. As soon as you commit to one, you realise that had you waited a
little longer, you could have got a better model.

The women won.

RE: National Day of Action Work Stoppage - Monday 30 March, do you support it

I don't think for or against is the issue. I think it is pointless.I believe the country is on it's knees and we are not being told half of the state that we are really in.
The issue for me is, why at such a time are bankers and politician still awarding themselves the pensions and hand shakes that they are.that is what I am against. We are all going to suffer, but say for example I pay more taxes etc,(if I am lucky to have a job after June) that will have an effect on me, paying mortgage, car loans etc. The more well off can take these hikes and cuts better than I can and yet they are getting off scot free.

I think it is time we were led by example.
I think that they should live on the average wage like the rest of us.
I think they(bankers and politicians) should be sacked.
The only thing that is really worrying me is losing my home.
Anything else I can put up with.
Chances are that by Christmas people will be paid with food stamps. There will be anarchy.
