Your welcome. I hope I have helped.handshake

RE: Broken people

Very true, But if you look at all the advice objectively and take the ones with you that will help you grow in to the person you want to be. It will be a success in your path of self-improvement.

You may read though piles of jokes and criticism, but someone will post some advice that really connects with your experience.

RE: Broken people

Wowwow
I am sorry you feel that way, and you have been through these bad experiences.
I need to ask How long did there relationships go on, Before you exited the scene? Just my opinion, it sounds to me you are also attracted to these kinds of people. What about them attracts you?

I do not believe anyone who has posted on this thread is playing the poor me game.

I say again, I firmly believe we learn about ourselves through other people. If no one shares how they feel, Or talk about the hurt they have been thorough. How can we learn and grow to better ourselves? He all have our own private hell. What hurts me, may not affect others the same way.

I believe someone looking at the box from the outside; Can help us to understand what is going on inside the box.

RE: Is Obama doing a good job?

I totally agree! Unless you are a complete Idiot, you never sign a contract without reading it! These are our public officials people. That is their job! We elected them to go through these pages of a bill. I don't know about your job experiences, but If I weren’t doing my job, I would be fired!

RE: Is Obama doing a good job?

That's pretty much it in a nutshell, and most forget to realise, this all started several decades ago. Funny thing is so many feel it neccessary to blame someone, anyone, so why not the guy in the whitehouse. It's just gotta be his fault.
I am not looking for someone to blame! That would be looking to far into the past. We are in a present mess! And need to deal with the problems that are in front of us. Why waste valuable resources to to form committees and such to investigate who are at fault? We should be looking at the present problems and how to fix them. What is our fearless leader Obama doing to fix things?? He seems to be on the media blaming the Bush administration for or current situation. I would tell Obama to get off the dam cameras to make his lovely speeches, And start doing his job!

RE: Is Obama doing a good job?

Anyone who took the time to read between the Teleprompter lines knew Obama is doing exactly what he said he was going to do. There were too many "Peggy the Moocher's" both as voters and corporations who were cheering his plans to bail them all out.

Well, he's doing it and before long the dollar will be totally worthless. Geithner is already asking Congress to raise the U.S. Debt Ceiling that's already at $12.1 trillion dollars, and that's after they had already raised it in February to cover Obama's $787 billion dollar porkulus plan. They are expecting to go over the current limit in October. In fact, they figure the increase in new debt between this year and into the next fiscal year will be $3.6 trillion. And you know they are low-balling that figure.

I was afraid Dear Leader and the rest of the Democrits would maintain control of Congress for the next 4 years. I'm starting to think that control will end next year with the mid-term elections and they won't have anyone to blame but themselves. Let's hope we can hold on that long.
I agree with you. But until the majority of American people wake up and open their eyes, The Obamanation will continue.

RE: Broken people

True.

A good friend once told me. If you live in the past, you will piss on your future.

She was very out spoken, but made alot of sense.laugh

RE: Is Obama doing a good job?

He has had plenty of time to show his true colors. If the American people just sit idly by, and let him carry out his plans. The government will be telling you what kind of medical care you need. They couldn't beat their way out of a paper bag. You want these idiots in Washington to tell you what is best for you?

I say NO THANK YOU!!, I can take care of myself and make my own decisions.

RE: it amazes me how many people on here that do no believe in God

I believe that all of us as human beings are connected. Our bodies contain the exact same elements of that of the earth. Without these elements we could not exist. The earth is our true mother and we are all connected through her. This is why I really believe in the theory of evolution. I believe god was created by man to explain the unknown. I do not buy in to the theory that god waved his hand or farted and the universe and earth were created.
I believe it was a series of events that happened at the right time and place, to allow life to evolve.

RE: Broken people

Well said Big John.

But sometimes the journey is on a rocky road with alot of pot holes. But I guess as long as you keep going, that grassy meadow is that much closer.

Good insight John.thumbs up

He would probably think "Hey I don't have to pay taxes, like most in my cabinet. I could live well."laugh

RE: Is Obama doing a good job?

I was to young to vote at the time.laugh

But I liked Reagan.

RE: Is Obama doing a good job?

I could never go as far as saying I would renounce my citizenship. I still believe this is the greatest country in the world. However it is quickly going down the drain. I just hope enough people will start opening their eyes, so we can vote these idiots out of office.

But the sad reality of it is, whom ever we put into office it's all about getting re-elected. It is no longer about what is good for the country.

I wonder what our fore fathers would be thinking right now.crying

RE: it amazes me how many people on here that do no believe in God

I respect your faith and belief. I am not going to put you down. I will just tell you what I believe.

I believe Jesus Christ existed and died at the cross. However I believe he did so, Not as the son of god, but just a man. I believe religion was created to explain the unknown. Where did we come from? Why are we here?...etc.
I do not believe an entity created the earth and heavens. I believe in the scientific approach and the theory of evolution.
Do I believe in a higher power? Yes I do, I believe that higher power is, Ourselves.
In life’s daily distractions and living by the rules of society, It is very easy to forget who we really are.

RE: I MET SOMEONE IN UK WE DECIDED TO GO ON

How long have you two actually known each other? Or how long have you two actually spent time together?

If it was only a few days or months. I do not believe it to be unreasonable for her to refuse your proposal and take more time to get to know you, and you know her.

Long distance relationships are tough but,

If you feel that strongly about each other, things will fall into place on there own. Or you need to move your separate ways.

RE: Pro-Gun/Anti-Gun?

RE: what draws to to a woman/man?

1.) Well I guess if I passed a woman in the hall, the first thing I would notice is her smile; The second would be her hair. Shoulder length or longer hair attracts me, Color doesn't matter. It's going to sound weird but a woman wearing glasses also attracts me.

2.) If I got to know her, Her physical appearance would not matter to me. I have known very beautiful women in my eyes (in the physical sense) but their personality makes them ugly to me.

RE: what draws to to a woman/man?

Do you mean physically? Like if I pass a woman in hall, what physical attributes would catch my eye?

Or do you mean after I have met her and got to know her?

I just want to make sure I understand the Question correctly.
