Nicely worded! Heather isn't an illusion, she's a fantasy so far unfulfilled. If she never becomes a dream come true it's because there is something out there better for both of us. I don't dream of being a Bill Gates or Warren Buffet or ruling the world or some other silly idea. I wouldn't dream about relationships with the Paris Hiltons of the world because of the up bringing they had. I'd never fit in. But Heather wasn't raised with royalty or extreme wealth. She's a beautiful california woman brought up in an educated household. She was blessed with a career that gives her money and fame. But she is, deep down, not much different than the rest of us.

Fantasies to me are things to accomplish. If you fulfill your fantasies your not reaching high enough. Why should I submit to the thought that Heather would not want me? A word, a sentence, a thought or an idea might trigger a desire in her to want to meet me. Maybe she only wants men within a certain income bracket or only men who could advance her career? Don't know but she isn't going to wake up one morning and look me up in the phone book. She needs to know I exist before any possibility of anything between us. The lottery ticket of love. Now I wait to see if fate brings us together.

If I had children I wouldn't intorduce them to anyone I wasn't planning on marrying if they were under 13 yrs. old. If the children are 13 or older, I'd be honest with them about the firstdate and wait until THEY get curious about who is making youso happy and want to meet your partner. In general, a child over 5 yrs will not accept another person as a replacement for their birth parent. If the parent is totally abscent from the childs life then the child may want and desire a replacement even if they are older than 5 yrs. However, this can't be done immediately. I have always told girlfriends children they don't need me as a father because they already have one. I rather be their friend and expect to be treated the same as I am treated by any of my friends. Since I am older then them I will be happy to help them in whatever they need, play catch, help with homework, talking to mom about something they find difficult to talk to her about, ect. In the end I tell them their mom gets the final say and I, like them, have to listen to her. This takes away the fear that a stranger is going to run their lives and tell them what to do. This always worked for me.

I think it's funny how everyone so far has posted how wrapped up I am in dating Heather. Oddly I feel no need for that because the odds of her noticing me, no less taking a romantic interest are so small. What really consumes my thoughts is what do I do if she were interested in me. Our lifestyles are worlds apart. What happens if I move to CA and a week or two later either one of us realizes it's not gonna work. If she does't wear underwear then I'm nothing. Taking her to the three most famous restraunts in the world isn't good enough for her. She might not like McDonalds, Burger King or Wendy's. As a personal gift I can't afford to buy her an $800.00 pair of underwear. Then again she and Paris Hilton might shop in different places. In all seriousness, if the love is there, ANYTHING is possible. I'm just waiting to see what happens next and take it the way it comes.

The chances are slim to none that Heather Locklear will ever see a single post I made, no less respond to it. Her last two husbands were in world famous Rock bands, and I'm sure there is no shortage of rich, famous and/or powerful men that would like to be the third. However, there is a famous actress who is happily married to a used car salesman. Marriage to the rich and famous has it's down sides as well and nobody knows that better than Heather. Maybe I'll win the lottery, maybe I'll win Heathers heart. You have to be in it to win it for either.
