Maybe in losing them it makes us face our own mortalitt..making it a little easier to accept....making us live in the present...i think the saddest thing is losing someone before u got the chance to really appreciate them in this lifetime...have seen that happen all too often....you dont really know what u have until its lost!! ...
Yes and its all ur fault...with all ur endorsements of the merits of rice pudding..saw a sharp rise in sales and now no one can get their hands on any.
Yes i love facebook. Connects me with people i wouldnt see very often. Get to have a laugh with those i do And if u look in the right places u can learn alot.
I like he traditional Irish side of music. The Dubliners. The Furey Brothers. Mary black has been a favourite of mine for many years...she sings "Song for Ireland" to perfection.
Im not sure of ur exact tastes but if u like the Irish feel of singers theres not many better than Luke Kelly RIP. He sings a song called Raglan Road...its one of my all time favourites.
Beer gardens in the summer. Festivals in different cities throughout the year. Xmas markets. The pub culture can be quite good if u are with the right people. Old irish stories told by the older generation. Ceilis.
Bad things. Weather Sunday drivers. Having beautiful beaches and not much of a summer to enjoy them. Having beautiful walks and woods and not much of a summer to enjoy them. The begrudgery attitude some irish people can have.
