did you ever see the movie "Escape From New York"?

may we shoud have a prison system along those lines, perhaps put them all on an isolated island in the middle of the ocean, & let them fend for themselves.

of course to make sure of no escape there would have to be patrolling & maybe a barrier with hungry sharks inside the barrier.

a couple of years ago i saw a story on the news that made me stop & think. maybe you heard it too.

a woman came home from work, turned on the t.v. & was watching the news. the reporter was reporting a story about a robbery in a convenience store and showing the stores security video and the woman recognized her son as the robber and turned him in to the police.

what would you do? would you turn in your own child?

i told my son if that ever happened to me i would turn him in.

now............as for getting elected, that's up to candidate and the lies he or she tells during the campaign and what the voters are willing to beleive. in the end it's up to the voters.
