Greed! That's the problem. Doctors want more, every one want's more. 30 years ago when you asked a child want he/she wanted to become when he/she grew up they choosed a proffession, now when you ask the majority say they ant to be rich and have a lot of things. The consumer sociaty where you are bombarded with commercials constanly has made people crave for more. Especially completly unecessary stuff. It used to be a medicine man in every tribe. Caring for a handful of people to his best nolage. Today a doctor is caring for thousands of people. No matter type of political system the cost or the lack of educating enough doctors makes doctors scarce. This enables doctors to have high salaries. Doctors have no interest in rapidly increasing the numbers of doctors since it would affect their paycheck. High salaries to doctors give automaticly high insurance rates. Do you think a medicinman would have said to tribesman "I'm not going to treat your severe lion bites because you are not going to be able to bring me meat anymore in the future, since you're most likely will be limp" Now doctors are hiding behind insurancecompanies and reception desks. Failing to provide the right document they will turn you away and you might just need to head for the nearest bush to die.
Previous posts has stated that there's a difference depending how many inhabitants a country or region has in how each country can deal with it's share of problems. It makes absolutly no difference if the number of people is 1 million or 1 billion in a country. What matters is density of population. There is not going to be a heartsurgeon in every other Igloo in artic but in a major city you will find one within a couple of miles. If you have homeless uninsured people in a big city it's a politial choice made by a sucsession of leaders. And you get/elect the leaders after your abilty to understand matters of hand. With less education the voters are prone to chose the most charismatic person not the actual politics. Wich makes greedy two faced people the wast majority of politicians today, it's the only way, kiss buts on the way up to the top so you can reek the benfits of office. I don't know Obama so I can't judge him, history will. As for the Bush family they should stand trial for their crimes.
Goverment need stupid kids for warfare it doesn't make them more accountable with life lasting decisions. Just that teens are very mouldable. Try to run an army with only 40 year old recruits. It wouldn't work.
Here's mine. I wake up usually 5 am. I have breakfast and check CS at the same time. I take the short walk to work and check CS when I arrive. I work to lunch, when I eat I check CS at the same time. I take the short walk to work and check CS when I arrive. I work till the evening, usually 5 pm. I eat dinner, I don't check CS. I watch Star Trek on TV. And then I fall a sleep at 9pm. Does this make me a catch?
I'm not fat! I have been eating in Mc Donalds and likewise all my life. Here's an anekdote. The very first time I visited USA I was participating in a convention for beercan collectors in Orlando. 1985 it was. I was a tall skinny guy amongst a huge crowd of beerbellies. The Mc D. was right next to the hotel so it was frequently used by the collectors. I shared room with three other Swedish collectors and people where coming and going doing trades with cans. It was not really any time for going to Restaurants so I popped down to Mc D. My friends didn't fancy the burgers so I just got my order and hurried back to the room not to miss out on any action. Having high metabolism I have always had huge portions of food. I usually bought 4 big Macs with fries and soda. This particular day I was hungry so I bought 5 burgers. I came back to the room with my food and there was a big american there doing some trades with my friends. Seeing me clearing a table from cans and spreading the food he said "You brought food everyone" with a hungry look on his face. I said "No it's just for me". He glimpsed my question mark like body and laughed, "there is no way your gonna eat all that" he said. I devaoured the tasty meal in minutes and it sure shut him up. For the remaining days I made a lot of aquintances and they all gave me remarks on my food consumption. I guess a rumour was spread like wild fire. LOL.
I still eat burgers, now not so skinny, all that meat has built my body good with no fat, but prefer Burger King.
Did you make this up your self or did you find it on the net? This is the funniest thing I saw in a long time. I see my self as a crashed husband 1.0 and is considering rebooting myself into boyfriend 6.0 a updated version where the old glitches as been reprogramed.
The one who turns the blind eye to what's going on is the most dangerous. No one can do evil without help. Exept seriel killers like Bundy, but we are not talking about that here.
I think the English/American language is abused. The value of words have dissapated. People use words like love and dear way to much. And this is especially done by those who have it as native language. It's strange, for me speaking Swedish as first language, other languages word does not evoke the same feelings when spoken or heard as my own language. One would think then that I and others using English as second language should throw words around more carelessly but I belive it's actually the opposite. My experience living in USA taught me that Americans are easy going and shallow. They have no problem speaking with a total stranger and even starting a friendship. But that kind of friendship who is genuinly deep they seem to have difficulties to cultivate.
RE: Listen fellow Americans.....
