Goverment need stupid kids for warfare it doesn't make them more accountable with life lasting decisions. Just that teens are very mouldable. Try to run an army with only 40 year old recruits. It wouldn't work.

I personally dont think its the best idea when it comes to tats because they are permanant although I got mine at eighteen and dont regret it because of the serious meaning behind it. Piercings on the other hand I believe are just a way to express yourself at that age, I dont see the harm. They can be removed.

Hey !its your body/mind trip, do what you want with it--- My body has stead me well whilst I've been- "licking this Earth" for a while now and during that while They/them/whoever have been wanting to Stamp, label,take bits out of my body and mind etc --- I dislike that - and am sure not going to do it to myself. Besides its so passe - start a new trend
