Hmmmm, i guess if you break it down, shyness could have it's root in a lack of self confidence and everyone knows, that no self confidence is very unattractive, sorry, but true... I'm not saying this guy has no self confidence, but he not taking the initiative here makes your sub consious pick up those signals. So I would say Yes, assuming of course, that most women want the guy to make the first move!!
Why are women so much more attracted to the "Bad Boy"?? I've heard statements like..."I've already been through my bad boy phase","no more bad boys for me" or "I want someone faithful this time" Yet, the good guy still looses out 10 out of 10 times......Am I wrong?
Of course you have my prayers and best wishes for a quick and smooth process. But most of all, that when it's over, you will trully feel that all of that is behind you and feel great about your future!!
I was born in FL, little town called Venice, just south of Sarasota. Alot of family in Florida, they seem to be dogeing Hurricanes quit a bit these past few years.... No wonder Home Depot Stock has gone through the roof....LOL :)
Good question....I like a women that has some style, but originality as well. Not just cuz the sales clerk said that those new shoes will match with this belt and accessories, but they put it all together themselves and it works.... Can be very high end, or very casual, but the originality is what does it for me...
Here is SE Michigan, the weather is finally breaking, the grass is growing back and cabin fever has subsided.... Getting the new props but on the boat and then its the islands in Lake St. Clair....:)

The circumstances of my divorce were pretty shocking. It was three years ago, I'm not negative or bitter, and definately don't live my life as a victum, but I am cautious, very cautious, which sometimes makes me seem pretty standoffish....
Finding that true connection, the one that you feel, but just can't explain, is very rare. Just hang in there, keep talking to guys, you will meet a guy that just lights up your life like an explosion! LOL but by all means, don't settle if you just don't feel it. No matter how bad you want, it's just not worth it.
very interesting one here...LOL Being new here, i haven't had a chance to meet to many people. But I can tell some of the ones that have stood out. For me, it's not so much what is said, but how it is said, vocabulary, grammer, punctuation....just gives a little more insight into the author. There are some great opinions here, and well, some not so great.... I can name a few, but for now, i'll just say Dreamer, keep those opionions comming...:)
I dated a women who actually said these exact words: "women hold all the cards" she would read all the mens magazines, like "Stuff" "FHM" & "Maxium" to gain as much knowledge about the male mind...well, she thought anyway..:) Only to use this info to manipulate.
Needless to say, we are not dating anymore, she not only doesn't hold the cards, but the game is over.....
Wow....I had a simular experience. The first thing i wanted to do was second guess myself. I would have to ask... During the time you were seeing her, did it seem like she was meeting you halfway? Was she openning up but you were not. It just seems that she dropped this with you very suddenly, like something else was going on that was not said. I wouldn't put the blame on you, the worst thing about this is, without any communication, your just left wondering which really isn't fair. I bet some closer would really help but this behind you.
