Whoa....keep yeser hairs on!! Firstly, this isnt about me. Im not in a relationship, just got divorced in June! This issue came up in work the other day and there was nearly an argument with all the different opinions between the married/attached crowd and the single people sooooo I thought I'd throw it out as a thread to see would it have the same affect. I am slightly disappointed that there was more emphasis on the 'why ask' rather than the actual question.
Anyway, it appears that apparently, married/attached people WOULD dump them, whereas single people wouldnt ask, wouldnt want to know.

As he got soooo burned he would never let himself love so deeply. Even though you're together over 3 years. You are his 1st long term relationship since his divorce (he had a couple of shorter terms before you) and he is your longest relationship in over 16 years.
Could you continue the relationship???? Would you???
I researched this back in January and posted it on FB back then, told all to circulate.........afraid I didnt keep my records (took some digging as you can imagine) But i'd start with a simple google search, its where I started.

You dont have to legally pay household Tax! You wont get a bill because the charge is a STATUTE. People need to understand this.

This household charge is a Statute, otherwise known as an Act of Government and only carries the force of law upon you if you CONSENT to it. Which means you are legally obliged to pay if you consent, or in other words go on to householdcharge.ie and register. Your silence and inaction will also give the appearance of consent. IF YOU DO NOT CONSENT, A STATUTE CANNOT AFFECT YOU WHATSOEVER!!
The Courts know this and the last thing they will do is tell you. In fact they will hide this from you at every opportunity they can. On the other hand if you tell them, they will accept it because they know it is actually true. According to the above definition a Statutery instrument is a contract.
IF YOU REGISTER FOR THIS CHARGE YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THIS STATUTE ie signing the contract. THIS IS WHY THE GOVERNMENT ARE ASKING THE PEOPLE TO REGISTER AND NOT JUST BILLING THEM INSTEAD.
I did but I was much younger, about 4. I think its different for younger kids though, no tunnel or light. I simply fell off the back of a 3 wheeler bike, landed on the back of my head. I floated out of my body, above looking down on my sister who was trying to wake me. I can still see her from behind as I looked down on her. I was able to lookaround her to see what she was looking at, saw it was me, didnt think anything of it. I then looked down the cul de sac at the other kids still playing on their bikes. I 'went back' into my body and came to. My sis picked me up and brought me inside. I didnt understand much of it but remember the hours to follow vividly, like my memory was sharper. Remember my mam sitting me in 'her' chair and getting me a drink and she kept looking through the hatch between the kitchen and the living room. The dividing wall was taken down when I was about 7 or 8 but I still remember what it looked like cos of that day.
I was asking that question a month ago, like a drowning woman grasping at any words of wisdom to get me past each day. Real answer, and this is me just under 2 months on, gotta go through it, the pain, the tears, the what if's, the if only's, bottom line........he wasnt right! He wasnt good enough! Your journey with him is done! He was your training ground for someone else. Some poor other sod has to suffer him (remember the bad stuff too) next and follow your path, especilly if he has availability issues.
You will find yourself going through the 'this time last week' bit and 'this time 2 weeks ago' and 'jeez a month ago' and then you will be where I am. Funny thing is, he wanted to come back and be friends with benefits...........I succumbed once..........then told him to sling it! 'Im saving it for a guy who deserves the whole package'!
I decided to do something special for myself, soooooo I booked myself in a Dirty Dancing Salsa class for the evening. Sooooooooooo when I got home from work, I dropped the car off and took the bus into town and went to the class. It was the most spectacular thing EVEEEEEEER!! There were 12 HOT professional dance teachers, all guys (they mustv assumed the girl ratio) and they taught the steps then took the girls for half a song on a rota basis so every one got a shot all the way through the night, I sure never felt I hadnt a guy to dance with on Valentine's!! Never had one this hot either!!
The last of my 3 are gone now over a year. When the last one left, it hit hard. Nothing prepared me for it. I had said it to myself and watched her get ready for weeks, she went to Spain so it wasnt a case of her popping home. She was gone, it was Final! Nothing prepared me for the actuality of it. Nothing prepared me for the silence. The only noise were those I was responsible for. No voice but my own. Friends and family said 'its your time' and 'Your job is done', but I realised I wasnt ready yet. The maternal thing was still in me.. Anyway, that was a year and a half ago. I have watched each of them become adults, they are 22, 24 and 26 now and adults in their own right. We become redundant to a degree and need to find ourselves, where we left off before we became parents way back when...
I'm looking for someone (or more) who, like myself would be interested in travelling to one European city/ country per month. I've got the travel bug but am not a seasoned traveller yet so am not ready for Solo trips but am sure there are others who dont go out to pubs and clubs here on week ends so feel it would be an adventure to European style once a month?
