RE: leave = brexit consequences

i haven't been able to put my finger on the pulse of your potential leadership, yet.

for that reason, at this time, i am unable to access just how your officials are going to move brexit forward.

your new leadership will determine success or failure. hopefully they will be able to project the confidence required to the public.

what i do know, is the choices we have here in the states.

and i'm sure donald trump would be a disaster as many others think. changes are required and someone needs to step up but donald isn't that person just like hillary shouldn't be the first woman who should occupy the office because she is in fact a woman. she has too many issues and is another unqualified individual to move us forward.

there is an evolution of politics taking place but we have the wrong candidates or potential leadership to move us forward here in the states.

Permanent Summer Olympics in Greece???

no, i like the different venues.

many of these countries are rich in history and culture and i like to get acquainted with them.

if there is a problem with a location, due to geo political reasons or financing, for example, the selection committee ought to do their jobs better in the first place.

RE: leave = brexit consequences

i'm with you life.

some here from the european countries are too close to the situation.

they've become too emotional and irrational to have a constructive conversation.

Michael Symon on Donald Trump: 'There's not a chance I'd let him into one of my restaurants'

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Michael Symon, one of Cleveland's most celebrated chefs, wants no part of Donald Trump during the Republican National Convention.

Symon, like Trump, is an established TV personality. He's a Food Network "Iron Chef" and stars on ABC's "The Chew," a daytime cooking show.

We hold these truths to be sacred & undeniable; that all men are created equal & independent, that from that equal creation they derive rights inherent & inalienable, among which are the preservation of life, & liberty, & the pursuit of happiness

laugh thumbs up cool

RE: Should The Dogs Be Euthanized

this is the crust of the entire argument. someone assumed the dogs were tied up outside. a door was opened for some fresh air. is it a crime to open a door ? the owners of those dogs had to routinely keep these dogs safely tied up outside or they wouldn't have just left the baby on the couch. i don't know that to be a fact but it is what they said so either their lying or it is fact. we'll never know what the truth is.

RE: Should The Dogs Be Euthanized

do you know these people? you're the one that judged !!

by your post you haven't even considered that it is a terrible accident that took place. i'm going by the information provided. and with that information one can only come to one conclusion.

take your blinders off..

RE: leave = brexit consequences

you are so sure trump is going to win so lets place a little wager.

if he wins and hillary loses, i'll send you a 6 pack of excellent tasting beer from great lakes brewery.

beer

RE: Should The Dogs Be Euthanized

you have no idea who these people are. terrible accidents do happen and to blame the people that it happened to is stupid. but, go ahead and continue to judge somebody and take the easy way out of possibly trying to understand that an assumption on their part had deadly consequences. like someone else said here, the parents will wake up every morning reliving their mistake for the rest of their lives. it's a horrific tragedy all around.

RE: Should The Dogs Be Euthanized

she thought the dogs were tied up.

see the trouble we can get into if we assume things.

it was an accident but the dogs have to be put to sleep.

RE: leave = brexit consequences

it will depend on the new leadership, if 50 will be invoked.

if the new leadership can project the type of confidence that will be required 50 will in fact be invoked. i would like to see it happen.

RE: Walt Disney World July 4th Terror

you don't have to go to disney world for terror. just head for the disney store at times square in new york city.

Naked man takes over Times Square, screams about Donald Trump

A naked man screaming “Donald Trump where are you!” turned Times Square into an open-air peep show Thursday morning, ambling to the top of the red staircase in Duffy Square where he put on a bizarre one-hour spectacle, and then jumped off.

A little before 8 a.m. the Manhattan resident – wearing a yellow shirt and black pants – screamed at a random woman, took off his wristwatch, threw it at her and then disrobed near the Disney store at 46th Street.

you mean a small number correct.

do we turn our backs on all because of a few?

when have we ever let a few bad apples spoil the bunch ?

RE: leave = brexit consequences

one would have a difficult time discussing the melting pot that is america without first understanding that this mix immigrated from many, many places around the globe, including arabs.

the europeans weren't the only ones to settle in america. so, to have a discussion about one single group doesn't begin to tell the unique story that is the assimilation of all the different groups that built this power house.

if you want to compare what i think is the biggest difference between what is now going on in europe and one group of immigrants who settled in america, i would say back then, the european immigrants a long with all the other nationalities realized the tremendous opportunity they were given. an opportunity that if given the chance they would certainly make something of it. and today, looking back, i would say they succeeded.

what is now taking place over in your neck of the woods, i can only go by what i read. from what i understand, the immigrants are taking the opportunity to get their benefits before earning them. crossing borders shouldn't be a qualifier. perhaps some money and health benefits for women and children for 6 months, then their cut off. 6 months is plenty of time to find work.

multi-cultural works because the country i live in is proof of the fact. for example, during the first wave of arab immigration men outnumbered women 4 to 1. causing a high intermarriage rate. a 1990 census showed 80 percent of us born arab-americans had non-arab spouses.

RE: leave = brexit consequences

which makes his parents immigrants and proves my point regarding our conversation the other day about assimilation, culture and immigrants.

it is what this great country was built upon.

have a nice day krema, have to go.
