RE: Do you kiss on the first date?

Yes, a simple kiss on the lips. If by chance you both immediately lock from passion, they a nice long french kiss and then say goodnight. At that point, you'd know that a second date is going to happen, but pushing for anything more then one passionate kiss is not the way to go. Bed? No Way, not on the first day. But dancing is okay (lol).

RE: Doll or No Doll

At 80, your Aunt should know better than to worry about what other's think. Bring her the doll. Do what you believe is best in your heart, not what someone else things. Any comfort you can bring to your Grandmother now is what you need to do. I mean at 102, who cares what anyone else thinks. Bring her what joy you can.

RE: what to do when you know it is over, before its over

Yes, run from him, and do something about your sitter. She's got to know it's wrong to try and hit on a guy his age or she's going to get in such trouble before she's even old enough to date. Give him space... a lot of space...like outer space....jerk!

RE: My mom has passed away...

Tracy,
All we can offer are words of sympathy to try and ease the pain. She is with God now and will no longer suffer. Remember, now she is watching you all the time and will know how much you miss her and how much you loved her. Bless you and my God ease your pain.

RE: They veiwed but didn't take action

I like that. Good answer. There is a canned flower line that says something like "nice to be viewed but I'd rather get mail" you can use too. dancing

RE: Who is still available, and who is taken? II

Available, I guess. I thought I had a live one on the line, but he seems to have disappeared. I guess he wasn't as brave as I thought he was. Where is my knight in shining armor(or at least a cowboy on a white horse or someone to dance under the stars in the moonlight with)? confused

RE: first time on a dating chat room

Welcome. No, this is definitely not like a chat room. However, it is full of fun, caring, crazy people from all over the world who express their opinion and band together to pray for those in need. It is a place where you can read jokes and some of the best poetry you'll find anywhere. You'll hear about births, deaths and broken hearts, and occasionally you'll have a front row seat to the beggings of a true love that sometimes goes as far as a wedding. Enjoy!

RE: Say something special to the person you like, no need to mention their name :)

Oh, but how I wish the miles between us would disappear so that I may look into your eyes, touch your face, kiss your lips and show you how much I care. "I'll start driving your way if you start driving mine--we'll meet in the middle...."

RE: Comfort Zone #3

Boys night out doesn't work any better than girls night out. Doing things apart is one thing, hitting the bars is another. It is just not conducive to a committed relationship. I agree. I don't see your girlfriend sticking around long.

RE: Who was your 1st CS buddy???????????

The first one I talked to was Bollo, who happened be local. We met and had lunch and still chat. Might even have a second date someday. After that, the one who talked to me the most was Fabs!

RE: Which would you rather have, excellent health for the rest of your life or

I want the health (but I'd like the money too). All the money in the world can't help you if you don't have your health.

RE: Update on Clara

Prayers for her and her family, and for you going through all this. Hospice will do their part and make everything as comfortable as possible for her. That's about all we can do besides sending our love.

RE: Which category of people do you belong to?

860-###-#### oh, no that's my phone number. lol My number depends on the day and time, and other people. I think I use all three numbers each and every day as I explore this glorious world that we live in. Life, Love and the pursuite of happiness (in the form of my wish to find a tall dancing cowboy).

RE: Ok,How many women are trying to rekindle their high school years by dating a younger guy?

Not me! I never had a date in high school. I date younger guys now cause the old ones are too old and feeble to dance!

My date last night with a CS Member

For those sweet people who wished me luck, thank you. For those who asked for me to keep you updated, it was wonderful, up until last week when he avoided me for our regular Saturday night date. Friday he wanted to see me, and tonight he dumped me. :(

Back to the drawing board. Never give up, someday I'll find someone to love......crying crying crying

RE: where would you live??

I've only moved 100 yards my whole life and still live on the family farm. I love the seasons of New England, but I'd like to see the rest of the country before I decide. My children are almost grown and I can stay here or go--not much else to hold me back. I'll never part with the farm but as long as I can pay it's mortgage, I don't mind living elsewhere. I like visiting the city, but I'm a country girl at heart. I want to be able to hunt and fish and sit in the woods reading a book. Most importantly, I want to be with the one I love. I would give up my world for love and let it take me whereever it might. I would live in a mansion, a house, a cabin, a tent or a truck as long as he lived me 24 hours a day...

RE: Anyone into Motorsports or Racing ?

I got my Enduro license when I was 21 and rode them for six years. Did a lot of turkey runs too. My nephew is pit crew for Tony Stewart, just transferred this year from Bobby LaBonte where he did a nubmer of years as jack man and sheet metal specialist.

That rhyme advice you give is true
You need to kee your day job too

I really am not trying to flirt
But I love the color of your new shirt

Some people really look like dodo's
When they post their brand new photos

Your shirt is of my favorite color
Bright and shiny and not duller

Now it's time for me to go
I'm not a poet either, you know!

RE: Would you date someone from work?

Dating co-workers really depends on the size of the organization. I work in a "family business" that employs 11,000 people. I would not date someone in the same office or department, but in a large organization, it can work. I met my late husband at work but I worked in an office and he worked in Public Works. It worked out just fine. In a small business, no, its not a good idea. I would never date someone who worked on my floor.
