The guy can't return the ring - so I have heard and what is he going to do with it? I had mine melted down into a new stunning setting (after the divorce) and it's beautiful.
I have no idea what he did with his ring and it doesn't matter now that it's over. For me...just my opinion!

Hi Ambrose.. If there is still hope, I'd suggest requesting this thread to be removed as it is clearly causing pain..

I agree with this fellow. Clearly someone isn't here to meet other people really. Are you really 47 Ambrose? I find that hard to believe. I also find it hard to believe when people use a public forum to go on about something that is CLEARLY hurting another person.

I think all you can really hope for is for your partner to change their clothes once in a while and maybe have a shower or something! Otherwise, the sky is the limit on the rest! LOL It's a crap shoot!
There are so many people with issues from their childhood and mental illness that is undiagnosed - most people if you ask them what they think their issues are don't even come close to what YOU think their issues are! THEN WHAT! LOL Oh, then they poll everyone on the internet to see if they can make a case with total strangers! LOL
You can't compromise your principles and value system - the rest will fall into place if the person is remotely self aware! And I stress - SELF aware as opposed to hyper aware of the other person's issues! If it isn't working for you - run for the hills!
