dude a bunker might save you from your non nuclear bombs but it aint gonna save you from starvation. I don't think you are looking at the whole picture. With millions of people living out of Woolworths and Coles (Not of the land) if say only the electric grid got hit how many people would survive before it got restored?
If there was was such a thing as doomsday the population would half in 3 months and within 12 months there would be something like only 10% of people alive. The city folk would move to the bush and eat everything that walketh and crawleth I wouldn't be surprised if we weren't forced to eat each other in the process. so your doomsday bonkers bunkers would be nothing more than a Hollywood fantasy.
Happy birthday miz Merriweather hope you have a wonderful day. I was going to post you flowers but since you are do fond of photography I decided to send you some naked photos of myself. If they haven't arrived today check your mail box on Monday.
Im afraid so. If it came to a nuclear war it won't be just one or two A bombs it would be more like 20 to 30. the bunker you build could not possibly hold enough food and air for the next 20 years.
From the little I know. The A bomb is designed to realise as much energy in the shortest time possible, thus the radio active material dissipates into the atmosphere, leaving only low level radiation.
I thought we mastered fission energy since the A bomb? To be honest I see no point since the radio active material is so much more harmful. I'm all for nuclear power fission or fusion. Many countries are using fusion type today and it is more environmentally friendly than what we have now.
RE: Doomsday prepping?
Once upon a time I use to find that sort of stuff fascinating, now I find it annoying.
