Same thing happens where it's made legal. There are still pimps. They use the legal operation to cover the illegal parts and the special clients... kids etc.
Ask the Dutch. Amsterdam is a hub of trafficked women into the so called legal trade. They'll close that down soon enough anyway. Dutch are changing their tune on a lot of things recently.
Yet another Fundamentalist myth. The very earliest depiction of Jesus he has dark hair dark eyes. Bot surprisingly... just like the Romans/Italians/Mediterraneans themselves.
Larry.... in all honesty.... I think they should stay out of the kitchen these days considering some of the culinary attempts I've seen some of them come up with. Your average 30yr old Irish woman has great difficulty boiling an egg never mind creating a masterpiece.
The other reason... well... they keep eating all the Jaffa Cakes.... and that never ever ends well for us men.
As I discussed before, that is a myth. The women that were famous Statesmen often defined themselves by the wars that were fought under their tutelage and direction. Whether it was Elizabeth I, Catherine the Great, Thatcher, Meir etc.
Alan. Lad... you're too young to be getting married. Wait until you're my age. Second of all... what are ya going to get married for? Is it for kids? Or career purposes? Either of those things can wait 10 years. Trust me. And I can tell you now... there is absolutely no other reason in this country to get married.
Now about this young lady. For her to mention things and think in such a manner means she's got her priorities kinda right in a way. She's hardly Irish is she?
Also the women at work thing.... I made that mistake once when I was about 20/21. That means you're allowed to make that mistake too. Once, like.
And don't be waiting for Xmas party. Be a bit more assertive. She could be at the Xmas party and end up in the arms of some other lad. That's the way women, particularly Irish women are. They don't give a bollix... self confidence issues will push them to the one they don't really want a lot of the time.
The one thing you haven't really mentioned is your own feelings. You haven't really told us you're mad about her or what? You seem a bit... iffy.
Double profiles. Someone you already know maybe from another profile. Some chancer on the forum. Or someone who just doesn't like the look of himself. Already have a wife/GF.
And when you think about our purpose. The Universe as a system does not need us. It will go about it's merry way, expanding or collapsing, death or rebirth... whether we exist or not. Which really does beg the question.... why does the universe need us? Why do we exist at all? Everything else in the universe serves a purpose. Every single particle and photo is there for a reason. It contributes to something. But us? Our contribution to the mechanics of existence is no greater from a gravitational equivalent of rock and ice. We are no different from the eyes of the universe that ~70kg x 7 billion x stones. And yet... we are so much more than that.
There's a problem with that. The only way to notice another civilisation as advanced as ours is to observe and search for Electromagnetic radiation from a ordered source. The problem arises, when you consider that the speed is finite.... that is the speed of light. And the speed of light is not very fast when you consider the immensity of the known universe. If for example there was a civilisation exactly as advanced as us, their version of Marconi and his signals, would have only travelled outward by 100 light years to date. 100 light years is nothing. There is only a handful of stars within 100 light years.
If there exists another civilisation they would have had to have been advanced a 50,000 or so years ago to include all of the Stars and associated planetary systems in our own Galaxy.
Next Galaxy? IF a civilisation somewhere in Andromeda reached the Marconi event... they would have had to have done it at the time when Homo Erectus and Co. lived for us to even have a chance at hearing their emissions.
BY the time we ever hear intelligently created EM transmissions.... you can be sure that civilisation is either wiped out... or extremely advanced by now.
RE: Would you date an alien if he/she was attractive enough?
Take a risk? I'd say you'd get up on a Klingon given half a chance.
