Wasn't referring to you. And as far as being "judged", its not about that either. It's about being in a hostile environment. If I wanted that, I could walk into a bar full of drunks and pick a fight any of them. It's meerly treating people with respect & dignity. Why post in a respectful & dignified manner, if the same will not be returned.
I'm new, one month, some regulars do seem to take control, and the newcomers seemed to get slammed the most, when it comes to opposing viewpoints. I've seen some subjects that I thought could be great debate topics, instead it turned ugly. Debate & insults are not the same thing.
I can not, nor will not, tolerate someones alcohol or drug addiction, or his mismanagement of money, because that has a direct bearing of my future. However, if i dont like how he chews his food, probably can learn to be accepting.
Also keep in mind, generally speaking, its the women that are caretakers, not men. So a woman is more apt to care for her husband to the very end, vs, a man caring for his wife. So I think for that reason, women need to be more protecting of their assets.
This is a valuable debate. My mother was with a man for 30 yrs, they never married. She aquired assets, inheritance. If she did not have those assets, I would not have been able to quit my job to care for her. The medicare system just does not allow for family caretakers. If my mother & him would of gotten married, her inheritance was his as well, he would of been making all the decisions of her future, and i dont trust his decisions.
I personally, would not mind a pre-nup to protect my assets for my future care, as well as my children. I would certainly understand him wanting to do the same for himself & his children.
I've always preferred older men, 5-10yrs, however, as i age i'm more set in my ways, and the older they get, the same. So I'm thinking maybe i should give the younger guys a try.
Not only do they not get the belt, they complain how their life sucks cause we didnt buy them the $100 Nikes. What would they complain about if they got what we got?

Not to change the subject folks (but I am the one that started this thread).. I'm new, just signed up this weekend. Received my 1st flower, which was very nice, but when I clicked on "who's viewed me", it claimed I had 0 views....what part of this am i not getting?????
