Youre right, beer, ale, whatever, it all tasted like pi$$, guess its an acquired taste, and a taste I never acquired! Cider is as far as I'd go, maybe some wine, but even they don't taste nice!! Why cant wine be like.....strawberry flavour and cider taste like.......oh I don't know......apple juice?!!

Not a classic owner yet, but I do understand one thing, that being that if you wanna own a classic prepare to get your hands dirty because the chances are you're gonna be under the bonnet a lot or stood by the road side, bonnet popped; scratching your head Then there's issues with rust; keeping them under sealed and stored properly, ideally not really driving them during winter month unless youre prepared to keep them well waxed and checked.

So, yeah, I don't know why people say 'they don't make cars like they used to' but then, my little Starlet got me over and back to Doolin for about €40 and has almost 182k on the clock, now they don't make 'em like that anymore

Modest enough I reckon, I like the long bonnet, sloped back look!


But, in reality, I'm gonna start small, Triumph Spitfire. Try get my hands on a somewhat solid, relatively rust free 'project' and get my hands dirty!
