right, so i got a mail from someone the other day saying something to the effect that there is no need for me to have a 'half naked pic' on my profile... she said it was a turn off....

i was on here a couple of years ago.. and had one nasty experience with someone that i just hooked up off of here. they came back with a new profile and sent me some, well pretty threatening mail....
i just see on SOME of womens profiles who have children, that they all say they love their kids more than anything else, or that they are number one in their lives, or something to that affect...
sure that's a given, no??? why feel the need to inform us that you love your children?? I have never met anyone who doesnt..
oh i don't disagree... these sort of inquires, should the ammendement go through, could easily dirty the name of an innocent person...
i just made the point because some people above seem to think that the government would have any power to pass sentence or any such punishment should they find a person 'guilty'.....
i will be voting no because any party with a majority could easily destroy another persons character for their own gain.
The main reason the govt says they are putting forward this ammendment is to cut out completly tribunals which are extremly costly. note to the gverment: leave justice to the justice system instead of trying to give urselves draconian powers
with regards to an ammendment into govt enquiries, it does not give them power to jail or decide prison sentences!! only the power to make conduct and inquiry into a person or persons whose actions or inactions may be considered of public importance... I'm still not 100% sure what 'powers' the houses of govt will have with this ammendment but they WILL NOT have the power to imprison or decide jail sentences for any individual(s).... they will not be a new court of justice. no one will be found 'guilty or not guilty'...
