RE: Charlie Hebdo

Seriously Mr. Ali: what do you think about this comic that was very popular when I was a children?

It's not about prophets, but a calipha and his grand vizier who is a betrayer.

Humour for kids, very different to political satire.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

I wouldn't choose between religion and rationalism, as neither did many rationalist philosophers.

Really, people doesn't need a deep knowledge of religion or philosophy for make themselves an idea of what means good behaviour.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

Even more: one may think for oneself about what others say we should just accept.

Not only marry. I mean that if it's only a date, why not.

RE: Would you date an alien if he/she was attractive enough?

Now there are laws against marry another species.

It's not because they aren't from Earth.

If the goverment gives them a passport, then they would have the same rights than humans, I think.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

True. When beliefs are strong, any taunts won't change one's mind.

Murder and threats yes it does. It's the most convincing reason to move away from them.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

Satire is a provocative style which mixes criticising with humour.

In our societies both things are allowed, but we have to remember that it has been also a mean for hate instigation or derogatory campaigns over persons or minorities.

RE: Astonishing Technology!

Yes, it was the first i thought when I saw the animation.

The links indicates that the real model has an V8 engine.

It seems that is a project just for shows.

However, these mechanisms inspired in living beings are used in the explorer robots sent to space missions. With less gravity their capabilities can improve. Electrics, of course.
