First half was a write off, then POW! There was a change in my luck, events, everything just seemed to fall into place and has been going that way ever since. All this year needs is a santa pressie, I'm wishin' for a lady to love and cherish.
Yes, it doesn't hurt to smile even if someone has a permanent frown, you never know, just by smiling it can make someone's day a little less of a burden.
Never thought of it like that. Must be why the right can control things like the blocking of a medicare system there. The right just opposes any new tax initiatives the left come up with in Congress.
Some people have it in then too Merri and just don't know how east it is to break out of the poverty trap caused by too much social security. There are studies they've shown that at a certain level of social any more benefits actually cause more damage than good. The Aboriginal benefits is a point in case. ie: they get more so it only acts as a barrier against getting into the workforce and out of this poverty trap.
Don't get me wrong, I love coal power and think we will always have some type of coal based power well into the future. It's just crude I'm worried about. It is the easiest fuel to get for the energy it produces. When it is gone, we need to have alternatives, coal will be one of them I'm sure. We may all end up driving cars with boilers that use coal to heat them or wood fired boilers.
The Carbon tax is good. I've changed my mind on the subject. Not because it will doing nothing to arrest the so-called climate change from occuring. But because it will help fund alternate fuels. This is desperately needed to alleviate the peak oil that will hit us for six in the next 20 years. At least by then we will all have a solar array, hot wat and wind turbine to power us and our cars battery.
