Amazing how we get caught up in our own lives sometimes and forget about those less fortuate.

I had a meeting in town last year, Baggot St. at about 10.00am, outside the office tucked in a cardboard box was a young man his runners firmly clutched in his arms still trying to sleep.

Besides the shock and surprise of this to me, it was an even bigger surprise how people either just walked by or steeped over him to go into the shop and not even glance in his direction.

Not all of these homeless people on the streets of Dublin are Drug or Drink addicts, 1 man told me on another occasion that his marraige fell apart and he had to leave his home but could not afford the rents of the city centre, at first he stayed with friends but then he felt he overstayed his welcome etc.

But there are many with sad stories and we should be thankful we are not in their position.

Have really made some very good friends here, never met with any except 1 and she is still a good friend.

But I would not like to loose anymore friends at this point in time, friends are friends, lovers are lovers, you are who you are and not what you can pretend to be as the real you will always come out on top. Be yourself Tessie and do what you feel is right for you, if you met him here then he will understand why you should not leave and if you didn't you can invite him in.
