I just wanted to see how many wiccans and/or pagans we have on this forum. I'm Wiccan myself. With so many recent negative wicca threads I wanted to create a positive one.

When we DID meet-- the person in front of me had absolutely NO self confidence in person. What I got online and over the phone was TOTALLY different than what I got in person!!
Well... This thing is turning into something negative.
I think in this situation I see both sides. I read Tarot Cards. And yes, I have read them online several times. HOWEVER-- I was doing so in a one-on-one, Instant message situation.
So here is my two cents on this matter:
While I don't agree with the format Ul is using, and am not sure if her method is exactly beneficial, I DO believe that the Cards themselves usually know what to say. If someone gets something out of her method-- then great.
Its not the method I would choose. For one thing, its public, and I don't agree with reading for others publically. First of all, because confidennce is too important to me-- I want the reading to be confident for the querant. Seconly, reading in such a public light may cross messages for people. Thirdly, having read and been read by several reliable people, I've never seen a Who, what, when, where, why method. I'm not sure how legitamate it is. Every reader I've been to, myself included, did not ask questions prior to, which makes me question the method. BUT I am interested to know how UL arrived at her chosen method. How did you arrive at the decision to use that method?? I'm interested in people's methods and why they use them.
Now, on the flip side-- anyone who has studied tarot knows that if a message needs to be sent, it will find a way. And they also know that Tarot is for clarification. Sometimes it is very specific, sometimes it isn't. But that is up to the interpreter. The cards themselves deliver the message; how specific usually depends on the reader-- a less specific message does not mean a less gifted reader, and it doesn't mean they are a fraud. Perhaps they are new, or perhaps they aren't being intuitive, or perhaps they have not yet connected with their cards. It could be several reasons.
So I can see both the point of view of Ul and theEnglishman both.
By the way-- not to sound like a b*tch, but please no one ask me for a reading. With the recent death of my own mother I wouldn't attempt it right now.
Ya know alot of people have told me that I don't even HAVE the right to date because I am a borderline (Yes people I am diagnosed).
BTW-- takeng medication has not changed who I am, nor my spirit, its just taken away some of the things that made life impossible to live, like emotions changing drastically 20 times an hour, and self injury, anger, and a hell of alot of other things. Those things were not who I am, those things were what I couldn't control on my own. Now they are under control, and medication helped with that.
People's attitudes on people with mental illness drives me... haha well crazy. Its just like anything else that you should educate yourselves on before passing judgement.

On the flip side, Iraq-- alot of military people don't want thanks for being there. Dexter doesn't. When you go over there to do a job and then you don't really get to to it, or you never see any action, you start thinking "why are you thanking me?" Thats what Dexter, and alot of other people I have spoken to, say.
OHHHHH I HATE that!!! In my profile it states that unless you live in my city and are in a certain age limit, they should not bother contacting me. But obviously people don't read it because men from all over the world contact me. Its freaking annoying.

I'm 30, and always been single. And I'm quite proud of that!! I see marriage as a bonus, nor something I have to have in order to be happy. I am happy with myself. :)
I have borderline personality disorder, dysthymia, and social anxiety disorder. Although I wish people would see ME and not the disorders. Yes they are a big part of who I am but so is everything else.
I'm usually pretty up front about it but I also stress that I am in therapy and have a doctor and all that.
My best friend (my ex boyfriend) is in the Army National Guard, and served in Iraq for ten months.
My Dad is a Vietnam Veteran. He was in the Army and Navy and served in Vietnam. I have alot of other relatives who were in the military, but Dad and my best friend are the ones who've affected me the most.
So to answer your question, no I don't know what it is like to be a soldier, or marine, airman, sailor, coastie, etc. HOWEVER I do know what its like to be a military girlfriend, and a Veterans daughter.
Satan is a Judeo-Christian concept. There are many religions in the world that predate these, or were started in different regions in the world than Judaism or Christianity. How do YOU know Satan exists?? Is Satan your buddy or something?? Do you know Satan personally??

I see you are very closed-minded anyways, feeling that your way of thinking is the correct way. All I am saying is that there is no correct path. But you will never know this, so lets stop this here.
However, its only possible if people remember its actual work, and if they remember that a romantic relationship will not complete you, nor make you happy. You complete yourself, and make yourself happy.
Satanism is not my chosen religion. It isn't for me.
However, from what I've researched about Satanism, its not so much about worshiping Satan so much as about being anti-religion.
I've researched alot of religions, from Christianity to Taoism to Wicca to Judaism to Satanism, to Buddhiusm, etc. Religions all around the world are of great interest to me.
Satan is actually a symbol, not a diety in Satanism. It represents indulgence, vengence, gratification, etc.
There are alot of people who consider themselves vampires. And I believe there are many levels of vampires. I have a friend who is a vampire expert, I'd have to ask him.
If you believe a certain way, no one should tell you the way you believe is wrong. The people who think their diety is the only diety, and try to convince others they are wrong for believing differently... are missing the point of having a belief system.
