RE: Do you ever feel invisible

That wouldn't be because of the wonderful reception you gave me the very first time I posted, would it?? Even though you misunderstood me at the time. laugh

RE: #1 Must Have!

no one from here just yet

RE: wanting more kids, but not able to have any

I don't want any children. And any man I am with has to understand that I don't want children-- he has to feel the same way. And yes, that limits the pool of men out there-- but who cares?? I don't NEED a relationship in order to be alive, and if I never have another one its okay. If I get one, then wonderful!! Because the children-issue is a big one. IF you don't agree on the issue, its time to move on.

Speaking of Jobs-- what is yours

She has a Monday-Friday helper, and a weekend day helper, and a night helper.

RE: I'm not Jean-nie...

Martina Jean-- great Jeans think alike-- and we also fill out our Jeans nicely.

Speaking of Jobs-- what is yours

The "give me a dollar" thread made me wonder-- what are your jobs??

I don't have a paying job. Mine is on barter. In exchange for room and board I help my roommate out at night. She is a post-polio parylized woman from the shoulders down. I work Monday through Fridays, from about 7 in the evening until the next morning. I help her with housework, change her bedpan, walk the dogs, help with the cat, and various other things. Also in the daytime I help out my Mom, who is very sick.

RE: USMC- any marines out there?

I've never served. However, my father was Army and Navy-- A Vietnam Veteran. He volunteered twice. :) And my best friend (We dated for three years) is in the Army National Guard. While we were dating he served ten months in Iraq-- and yes, I stayed faithful to him. :) We broke up for a different reason earlier this year.

RE: GMail

I use it!! I love it!! I have three gmail accounts-- one for regular mail, one for blinky requests that I make for people, and one for those forms you fill out on the internet-- so most of my spam will be sent there.

RE: Are you a democrat, republican, or souther republican?

In all seriousness I'm democratic in views... but what would I do??

First, I'd be carring a knife as well, not a gun (I carry a knife in my pocket everywhere I do)... but if he was an Islamic terrorist, I'd probably show him my breasts, or pull the pants down of whatever guy I'm with. Likely he would stop in his tracks long enough for me to take care of business, one way or the other.

RE: Which Gilligans Island member would you be?

I don't know, but I think Ginger and Mary Anne were lovers.

RE: Who thinks they can cook

Here is the simplist meal you will ever make BUT it is also one of the TASTIEST... You should try it.

You'll need a crock pot for this one.

YOu'll need about 2 or 3 cans of cream of chicken soup, and one package of boneless skinless chicken breasts. You'll also need some white rice.

Combine soup and chicken into crockpot, turn on high -- IMPORTANT-- DO NOT ADD WATER!!!! after a few hours, add the rice-- I've never measured, but start with 1/2 cup. Let cook, then when rice and chicken are done, serve and enjoy.

RE: Site?

Honestly I wish we could start a forum on invisionfree or something like that-- it'd be a better format BUT since that would violate rule one being:

No soliciting of any kind for websites, products or services, or directing people to other websites.

Then I'll just be happy with this one-- which is cool enough anyways. :)

RE: What one lesson would you like the younger generation to understand?

If you read through alot of your responses... when you think about it, these are the types of things that parents SHOULD be teaching their kids from a young age. Some-- like many of you-- already DO. But most don't-- sad. :(moping

RE: What one lesson would you like the younger generation to understand?

I'd love to tell them to finish school and go to college and do things based on how they want THEIR life to be-- NOT on a boyfriend or girlfriend!! I based my first college based upon my boyfriend at the time-- what a mistake!!

RE: poll

I think it would depend on how things went, and on the guy. I'd go all the way, or I'd make him wait-- it just depends.

RE: Does height really matter?

I'm just under five foot two... any man shorter than me would be REALLY REALLY short.

RE: Do you ever feel invisible

YES!! In fact, most of the time-- when I post in a thread... the thread dies and no one posts in it anymore.dunno confused

RE: Anyone in Georgia

Hmmm... you've never reallly been here then have you, if you think we speak like that????dunno confused

RE: Anyone in Georgia

Hahaha-- I live in Geirgia, and I have yet to see anyone interested in GEORGIA. Now everywhere else in the us contacts me, but mostly I'm here for the forum. :)

RE: Age Aint nuthin but a number...right?

Sorry-- But NO. And if it was a 36 year old woman dating an 18 year old, the answer would still be no. It matters not how mature said 18 year old is, the FACT is that legal or not they are still a child in my eyes.

RE: Astrological Sign

EEK!!! Thats my ex's birthday!!

I'm an Aquarius. :)

RE: Who was your Teenage idol ?

I didn't have one!!

But NOW... trap me in a room with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom and they'd BOTH be dehydrated by morning!!!!banana

RE: Giants or Falcons?

so how'd it come out??

I don't care about it really... But I live in Atlanta so I'll always pick the Dirty Birds.

RE: TV Shrinks are they for real???

Well... I'm not of the "mentally stable" of CS like you suggested, however-- Dr. Phil is an example of how COMMON SENSE is lacking in todays society. All he does is dole out common sense advice and the general public calls him a genious.

RE: Cutters

hey-- I don't cut, but for years I was a biter. Its still a form of self injury, so yes, I can relate. I'll send you the link to a forum I'm on made specifically for people who SI so you can have someone to talk to. :)

RE: And the most requested funeral song is....

My Dad wants "I did it my way" by Willie Nelson.

I don't have one.

RE: Who's the one person who is always there for you?

My ex, Dexter. We still talk every day and he's always there for me when I need him.

RE: Looking at profiles-What interests you/Turns you away?

Well-- people that have or want children DO turn me away, simply because I don't want children. Someone old enough to be my father DEFINANTLY turns me away. And people that say "I don't know if that interests you or not but if it does and you are not revolted maybe you should contact me" In other words, no self confidence whatsoever.

RE: Guys, how would you tell someone

Well-- I'm no guy, but I've had this done to me before.

Just tell them up front. Its better that way.

RE: I LOVE YOU

Not sure but I love you too.
