I think, and maybe I'm wrong, but as a couple can't be intimate all the time. What many women want is that intelligent guy. The guy that stimulates them, challenges them, and makes geat engaging conversations. The guy who can take them to levels the other guys never do. They also want the guy who they feel safe with. The guy they know is going to be there to pretect them and thier children. To that also they want the steadfast guy, who is a true one woman kind of guy. They also want and need to trust and have respect for the guy they with. Liars and cheaters are NOT what most women want, they trust or respect them.
I'm a HUGE movie fan and I do a Shrek from a Ken. That's unless girls think a big beer belly the size of #10 wash tub dressed in rags makes a guy a Ken.
For some of us whoes life was too busy, or never met the right one, and want a family then we search for a woman of the right age to have a family with and not seriously shorten her life. I want forever, not a night, not weekend either. Kids need a mother and a father, we have far too many kids with single parents now. But finding that is so often such a hard thing to do and get it right. As for me I'm the eternal optimist! I'm not a quiter, I don't know how. So until I draw that last breath the search goes on.
Isn't it enough to make a hopeless romantic a bit of a maniac being stuck in this horrid world of today? I feel like I'm from another time, 200 years ago when it was a more romantic time and romance was in style. Seems wasted on the girls today and most now think being a romantic is silly and old fashioned.
I would say I see love this way. Perfection is part of the dream of course, but true love is what is most important. To find our soul mate, our kindred spirit, the man or woman who loves us with all their heart and soul. In dreams and in love there are no impossibilities. Take away love, and our earth is a tomb. Wait just a minute!! I've been chase after many times!! Unfortunatly not by any woman I would think was worth investing time with. After all our time is all we have and it should NEVER be just wasted.
