Never have. I am no many dating sites, but have not met anyone from any site. Sadly I wait for them to contact me, and many dont fit what I am looking for or worse are scammers.
I was good at a few sports, but never great at any of them. I played football in HS, wrestling in HS, soccer in HS, bowling after HS. In wrestling I would defeat another person with a great win/loss ratio (10-1), but loose to the average person (5-5). In bowling I once had season high game (230) in a bowling league.
The easiest to influence are the kids, as they are still learning things in life. They do not know what is truth and what is hope. They usually believe most of what their parents say, until they get old enough to start questioning things. We can only hope they learn with an open mind, and just following everyone else.
the neighbor across the street has not been there for a while now. We believe he might be back in jail. Just a few days before Christmas, an ambulance came to his house and supposedly took him away, possibly an injury. Once at the hospital, we think they found he had his drugs still in his blood, and sent him on to jail after. We still the neighbor kid checking in on his house, and once a week the neighbors kids, (over 20 or 30) visit his house also.
One thing I do notice, is that like many of us, they too are on more than 1 site. Or could just be that their pictures are on many sites. There is always about 10 photos that seem to stand out in my mind, and I see them on every foreign site.
No luck yet. Have recently been trying those foreign dating sites that show up for adds on here every once in a while. Those seem to be for "entertainment only". The sites charge $1 for 2 credits, and give you free 20 credits to start. Many people seem real, and want to meet, but the site edits all emails and messages sent back and forth. Unless people pay the big bucks for info, they wont get it, and even after paying, the person might not agree to it, so they seem like Scam sites. Most of their messages are small silly things.
On another foreign site they charge higher $1 for 1 credit, and the people send large messages (like an email). You can send free messages, and read the 1st message from anyone, but the next messages will cost. The cost is based on the little credits each person seems to want. (don't know who set those rates)
Yes, they sent me a notification telling me that my password was recently changed. I had to reset the password, and remove all of the fake pics the hacker put in there. Then I found out they had sent out 20 mailings to other POF users, and I notified those people that I did not send the message, and to watch their account. I did not see any way for a person to contact the admin for the POF site, to let them know that it was hacked.
I have a drug dealer living across the street and his underling down the street, and the Police wont do anything!! Now, we find out he has turned the neighbors against us. Everyone thinks we are the bad people. The police want us to do their job, "get proof" they say. We made films of him. They bring the films over to him and show him, he is being filmed. The kids down the street goes house to house BSing others about us. New neighbor moves in, to his side (old neighbors fed up with him), he lies to them. They hate us without ever meeting us. And new neighbors send the lies down the street. We have the house up for sale, but not selling

I have been awake for a few surgeries and asleep for a few. It can depend on if you have a choice or not. And after hearing about some people in the news that took advantage of others while they were unconscious, dentists, surgeons, doctors, I don't think I would let them put me to sleep during any more.
After all the attempts I have gotten from scammer types, I finally got a web cam. Mentioning using the web cam during chat sure seems to work in scaring away any would be scammers. If they are not a scammer, it sure helps knowing the other person is who they claim to be.
I have been on a few different online dating sites, and seen many different categories in which to define who you are looking for. But I have yet to see any matches on who is looking for what you have. Example, say a person is looking for someone who is between certain ages like 21 to 30, and the search results show who is between those ages, but most of those people in the results don't want the age of the person who is searching. Can this be added, so that the person you might be searching for is also looking for you?
If I were 50 and looking for someone from age 30 to 40 and find a list of people. I search through the list and find that only 1 of them is looking for someone at age 50. I think this would help if you were able to know that everyone on the list is also looking for you.
