Your so right Yami, communications skills play a very large part of being understood but not everyones level of understanding a person is the same. Take this thread for instance, it was very much said with toungue in cheek, theres no way on this earth I would harm my ex, seriously, he's a great guy. But this is just my warped sence of humour. I don't expect everyone to understand it or agree with it but isn't it our differences that make us all unique? Gawd, if I did bump my ex off, who on earth would I get to have the kids each weekend to give me a break lol.
I think life is the best lessons we can learn from. I'm certainly not the same person I was when I first split from my ex. Back then I walked away heartbroken, confused and desperate for someone to tell me how to cope, I was at a complete loss and didn't understand but,it was going through those emotions, finding my own way and coming out the other side that has made me the person I am today. A better and stronger person than I was back then. We are our own best teachers and I know its a bit of a cliche but time, is a wonderful healer.
I agree, we are all made up with the same buttons but I think depending at what stages we are in life/relationships our buttons might not neccessarilly be in the same place as the next persons, once again its those buttons that make us individuals.
More people should say what the mean and mean what they say, the world would then be a less confused place.
